Alright. So tonight i just finished up my first foot ball game. I go to the school with the worst reputation in our entire city. We pretty much have the smallest population, most arrests every year, worst sports teams and everything. But we do have a Magnet Arts Section of the school. Basically everyone in the Magnet is intrested more then normal in the arts like Band and Choir and Drama. So far in the past two years we have raised the reputation of our school through the magnet. Tonight was our first game and although our team lost (horribly 70-20) we still played an excellent show at half time. We had the whole crowd cheering for our Latin Inspirations themed show. We played the best we have ever played since the Magnet program was started 5 years ago, and on our first show. As section leader of the Saxophones i was amazingly happy and surprised. The moment we got off the field i ran to my section and had a mini celebration. We got so many pats on the back and compliments. I just wanted to share with what i consider my second family how well my band has been doing and i am planning to keep updating every time we have a competition with the scores we recieved.

I was in a marching band in elementary.
Everything about it was bloody terrible.

Just had our 2nd show! Our team lost but we had the crowd so pumped no one cared. We did amazingly well and we have our first competition tomorrow. I will update on that tomorrow when i get back from it.

I was in orchestra, not band. Kind of funny to imagine the bassists and cellists trying to "march" around the field. *giggle*
