My grandmother passed away, this morning, at 3am.
She had been staying at a place called Regency Hospital, which was a part of Riley's hospital, here in Meridian. Regency, by the way is something of a franchise. Be sure you keep your friends and relatives out of any hospital called "Regency".
She came back from the University of Alabama hospital ready and rearing for physical therapy. She was doing well, alert, and ready to come home.
Once she was stuck in Regency, however, she quickly went downhill. She would be out of it, for the most part, and non responsive. And she kept getting worse. The her family doctor wanted to move her, and yet he didn't. He backed down for reasons unknown to me. Even so, he was the one who got her *into* this mess. The doctor who performed the endoscopy and tore her throat open has killed two other people, before this. Beware of Doctor Thomas Plavac.
Regency killed her, but not before milking her insurance for all it was worth.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Death of loved ones sucks, it really does. But try not to up in arms against "The Man" (in this case the hospital). It could very well be a death due to negligence or worse, in which case your family should contact a lawyer...But also realize that you are grieving and want to blame someone for her sudden physical plummet.
Again, my sincerest apologizes that you're mourning. <3

Thanks, everybody.
And it's been the general consensus of my family that they did not do their job correctly.
We're going to contact a lawyer, and intend to take action for ourselves. I think *I* could, being a granddaughter, and a blood reletive.
