I've tried several FF games in the past...
Didn't like any of them.

It's better to hate them all, then to like the ones not deserving.
*Sage nod.*

Yes, well, I have other games I'm way more interested in at the moment that I can play. Also, I have an assignment due tomorrow I haven't started yet.. all my homework... that post I wanna do for Delia.. Lots to do, if I get insanely desperate one day, I may try it. But I doubt it >_>
Oh and, wow, I was expecting someone to go stupidly spazzy on me. :3

To be honest if a system has Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, and all those cool ones they are bomb.....
Persoanl Preferance on current systems:
Xbox 360- has good Graphics(specially in HD)
PS3- has a few good games, and some nice features
Wii- fun games, Zelda being number one, but they need more T or M games to be honest
Those are just some personal preferance on the systems that are curent, if I would choose any it would be Xbox360 for the fact they have great games, and soon to becoming games that I want to play......

Well, Guitar Hero 3 is coming out on all three. >.>
Guitar Hero 2 is already out on PS2 and XB360.
The XB360 version is arguably better, due to additional songs, and the ability to download more content.
PS2 has the original Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80's. As well as Guitar Hero 2 and eventually Guitar Hero 3.
Rock Band will be both PS3 and XB360 (As far as I know.)
And then you'll -finally- be able to play the Guitar Hero genre on the PS3.
Previously, although the disks are all backward compatible, you couldn't play with the guitar controller, since the only PS2 to PS3 controller converter was some crappy third person brand that causes a slight delay making it practically impossible to play any rythm based games.
But I digress...
XB360- Has a much larger library and relatively diverse genres of games. (Finally! Xbox RPGs!)
PS3- Well, what games -are- out, are also on XB360 >.> Those that aren't either suck, or aren't worth buying a new system just for that one game.
Wii- Will be much better once Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers comes out. Otherwise, all they have going for them is Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario. <3 (Maybe Metroid...)

All I'm sayin' is....Wii rocks.
I've always been a Nintendo fan/supporter (except for the Gamecube, i just didn't like it) and I think the Wii is just cool. Smash Bros. is gonna be just.....*Trembles in delight* oh god, awesome! Plus, it's gonna have online stuff, so that's gonna be sweet. Just looking a little bit ahead, I think the Wii is going to be the most fun over the long run, because all the fun games on XBOX and PS3 right now, are going to get pretty old after a while. Wii will probably always be cool....I hope.

Linux? Mac? Remember kids. There are other companies than Micro$oft in the markets.

I just talked about a bit with a friend of mine (nicknamed as Hallitsija aka Conqueror). He had terminated the subscription of his Xbox Live. To do so, he had to call the customer support, prove his identity and give a valid reason for shutting down his account.
The clerk said that because he was running short on money wasnt a valid reason so he spent a hour with her questions until he was very annoyed and yelled to the phone. "Just do it will you?!"
This is why I am not even thinking of getting another console. My PS2 is enough as a DVD player and occasional entertainment for my younger relatives. (Got the PS2 for 30€ used for a year, but in mint shape.)

Yes, but in the market of games... most are designed to work on windows. Even those mac compatible often have problems with it.
And there are plenty that are windows -only- Even more recently Vista only. (Like Halo 2 =P Which although I don't like, is an incredibly popular game.)
So, in order to play games on Linux or Unix you have to trick your computer into -thinking- it's running windows through an emulator, which really defeats the purpose of using a different OS to begin with. >.>
And yes, Microsoft does hang on for dear life in the event you do want to cancel. >.> Oh well.
