Some drunk guy nearly ran me off the road in attempted retaliation of the extraction of my middle finger for initially speeding past me after work (and flipping me off for following the speed limit). After he decides to remain in my lane, I leave my brights on for only him. I'll be asking my boss how she liked that.

My boss was driving in the lane next to me. It was borderline paralleling. At 2am. Where bars USUALLY let out here.

Went to the beach.
Was in the sun for six hours. (and had no sunscreen).
Next day, I woke up with the worst sunburn. Couldn't even take my shirt off.

Yesterday my cousins invited me to go downtown with them and grab some ice cream.
We did so and took our ice cream cones and sat on the edge of a really gorgeous fountain. Everyone was goofing around and acting silly when all the sudden some men started screaming.
Saw my first gang fight then.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared, though, I didn't tell my mother what happened because I knew she would never allow me outside the apartment again.
Oh well.

Relevant to this year's steam summer sale! Someone on reddit compiled a list of all the games with a steep discount(>70%) that weren't highlighted as deals on the front page. It's here, for what it's worth. Didn't find anything on there that I'd been keeping an eye out for, but you never know.

I finally got portal. Reached the end of level 17, then quit due to sadness. Probably not a spoiler for most people by this time(the game's been out for what, 5 years?), but I drew a comic that explained it, here. Sadness, I'm not sure if I can carry on playing without the thing, I got quite attached to it. :\

I found the companion cube to be lackluster. It's exactly the same as the other cubes in Portal, but it's pink with a heart. Does that really make it any better or more endearing than the other cubes? Then again, my cube threatened to stab me.
