Flex your imagination.

Before all there was nothing. The clashing of the stars above painted the first of the planes, bringing forth with it the beginning. Amongst the flames of creation laid a being. Barose, creator and keeper of all things sacred. Spirits had always lingered the emptiness of time and the one we call creator would play host for hundreds of years. Vast factions of Devils and Celestials fought within the being, their spirits posessing her body creating around her the worlds they would reside in. Within her body the spirits conflicted for power before control was taken briefly by a spirit named Balmor. With a host of unlimited potential, he created a small race of mechanical shells, ‘The Prime’. With the use of the artificial bodies, Balmor brought about the great Exodus. The conflicting spectres of the great one were released into the artificial beings, freeing Barose from her struggle with power. Now within full body and mind, the Prime departed to their utopias. All had gone with the exception of Balmor, who pitied Barose. He took the fragile being in his arms and whispered to her the secrets of mechanics, creation and life. With these silent secrets, Barose rose to full strength beside him. Together they worked for years, forming the first natural being. Removing aspects of Barose herself, studying them and then the free spirit of Balmor. Together they created a second race. An ultimate group of beings in image of themselves. These would grow to be the first Gods. Now as Mother, Barose took it upon herself to keep her ‘children’ from harm and suffering. During this period of creation Balmor spoke with Barose and made a deal in exchange for what secrets he had given to her in kind. She responded well and granted Balmor his one request which was to never be bound to commandments or laws. This for a Devil would open new doors to him when granted this mighty feat. Balmor left for his own plane of solitude and Barose was bound to bring up her creations. For her ‘children’, she would grant them anything. She began building organic life, like plants, trees and various other earthly pleasures. After came water of the world to quench the thirst of her young, then from the ground she created ancient creatures. The Barnu, large rock, wolf like creatures with greenery for fur. These wild dogs were adopted by the Gods, raised as an equal and bringing about the first of the animal Deities. Seifer, Animal God. Before long something occurred to Barose. She had spent her life as a battlefield, which without the help of one would have killed her. This in mind Barose decided that with her unlimited potential she could put an end to anything of a similar manner. She descended to the Infernal Planes and walked amongst Devils and Celestials alike, her hand rose, emitting a bright white force that pulsed through every fight and conflict, destroy all of what Balmor created. The Prime were annihilated. Upon return to her domain she noticed the world she had created had grown, multiplied in fact. Land had eroded, water had spread and vegetation had sprouted. Taken back in awe she looked around, her children fought amongst themselves for the land that had been given by nature itself. Their Mothers absence had cleared their mind of any parent figure and had replaced it with the belief in Mother Nature itself. Seifer had raised more of his own and had created offspring before leaving for the depths of the world itself. In secret he studied the mechanics of what remained of The Prime. Through is curiosity he was granted the power of creation himself, combining the nature of his own kind with that of the Prime. What was created was a fatal mistake for the world to always endure. Man. Living underground in secret, man evolved, gaining intelligence and power with each generation. Mother Nature and the sly Barnu spent hundreds of years mastering the magic of Seifer’s Mother, the Creator herself. Barose could not kill her children who had fought so long for land and so kept them in the dark of her identity before banishing them to a plane each in which they would watch over and keep control of within the limitations of the commandments, created by Barose herself.
The first of man, created by Seifer were a strange deformed race of beings. They stood seven foot tall with large furry heads and strong hind legs for running. Their diets would not be satisfied with rocks and dirt. A rogue faction of man fought up against their own, killing and eating each other savagely. Seifer could watch no longer and adjusted his creations with magic inherited from his creator. Man merged with themselves and formed the one, created in image of Barose out of respect for his deceitfulness. Though out of arrogance he refused to hand them the abilities he had been granted in order to have full control. This would be the final design of man who would then go on to become adept in tool making and exploration. As Barose sat alone upon her hill she looked down and noticed a small disturbance in the ground. Man had broken free. She watched as the man witnessed his surroundings and stopped in his tracks. Barose followed his gaze to a small woodland creature. Life was growing around her and she didn’t even know it. She traced the source and was led right to Seifer. His explanations were ignored by a furious Barose. She had seen red in the presence of betrayal. She struck him down along with his personal kin. Other Barnu’s survived and went into hiding for years. On her return she was visited by a now smug Balmor. She questioned his emotion and he happily pointed out her disrespect for her own commandments*. In this new found shame Barose was forced to keep all that grew on her world. Man were let to live but she said before departure that every three hundred and seventy thousand years, she would return to check and if nothing had improved on mans behaviour, she would destroy everything they had built in hope of them taking another chance to succeed where they had failed. A select group are always designated to survive the genocide. Barose finally returned to her plane with Balmor where they reside always. By the second era Barose and Balmor had created new races and unique beings. Elves, Dwarves and The Wizards were born. Within the first years of the Third Era, The Wizards had created a second race of Robots named The Serrand Imperials, a group of masterwork machines that would begin to enforce laws that Barose had influenced. Various prophets would recognise the work of Gods and created the first of the Holy Temples. Naturally man began to shape into the man seen today, filled with trade, politics, monarchy and religion.

Taken from my book but it's in no way cheating! :)
Bring on Cactus worlds and honey Gods.
Chocolate Oceans and a sun with a face.
