So, today were the Colorado Springs Regional Marching Band competitions. My school got 6th Place in the 3A competition so we are Qualified for State Competition. I am really super super super pumped for this. It's been 10 years since we even got close. We went up from a 36.5 score last year to a 51.8 this year which is super good. As well our last competition was on Saturday and we Scored 39 there so we went up 12.8 points in 3 days. I just felt like I should share this with ya'll since your my like virtual family! I'll tell you after the 25th how we do!

That's great! Nothing like a good marching band. I occasionally go to sporting events just to watch the marching bands... >.>

Awesome! I played flute in marching band. Can't say I really enjoyed it much other than the friends were a great group of people. The drummers were always my favorite.  Best of luck to you guys! Let us know if there's any youtube video footage of your performances.

Heh, that was the first thing I did, poke around on Google and Youtube. Didn't find anything - so yeah, if you end up with any footage, let us know!

Psch. I was so in the marching band in high school. Clarinet, baby. And I know a certain Clown of the Circus variety who played the drums quite well, if I do say so myself.

Thanks we leave out in 8 hours... It's a 8 hour drive breaking it up into 2 days. I am so excited! Will tell you how we ranked! If we make finals I will be back wednesday if not I'll be back tuesday!

Just got home! Got 11th out of 22! So did super well! 52 Score!
