Ninjas are dull, they have a schedule and "fun" is not in their schedule.
monday: assasinate joe blo
tuesday: assasinate billy bob
wednesday: assasinate barney
thursday: assasinate (insert name here)
friday: accidentaly break katana and curse madly
saturday: clean clothes...boring black clothes that we always wear every day...and they say these rags protect us? Meh *scrub scrub*
sunday: die by clever pirates.
pirates on the other hand, are VERY spontaneious, they dont have a schedule, they go with the flow of life....they are high...on life.
they have an agenda of partying, stealing AND getting away with it, mind you. Also while they are partying, they are getting drunk like mad and they fight best when they are drunk. 
oh and dont forget, they are VERY clever...dont let them fool you.
