I found myself missing being able to go out into the "'Forbidden' Forest" and battle some random creatures the other day. I thought maybe someone else might be in the mood for some action, so I thought I'd ask.
I think it might be fun to team up with someone and play one or more of the offical NWN campaigns. For anyone who hasn't played them, their pretty linear and the "RP" is limited to your choices of dialog. They're also not really designed for multiplayer, but you can play with multiple people. By this I mean the quests and dialog consequences are shared (like how when a firstie gets the starting quests and everyone in the party gets it too). The way I've played around this in the past is for one person to be the "main character" or "spokesperson" for the group. I'm fine with playing as a "henchman" myself, so there shouldn't be any major problems.

P.S. I haven't played throught the NWN2 campaigns yet, but if you have that game we could try that one instead.

Currently playing the NWN2 campaign myself, and recently did the SoU and (most of) HotU, so it's a bit too fresh in my memory for me. But my recommendation: Don't do the Hordes of the Underdark in a group. It's made for solo play, and quickly gets buggy in multi.

I never finished the NWN2 OC. Could be more fun in a group.
And the shared first year quests are annoying. I don't want to know how to get in the Slytherin common room instead of my own lol.

Yeah, that could be fun. It'd have to be on the weekend though. I'm in the same timezone as the server, but I work more of a EST shift.

Well, I just got NWN2 and all the expansions cheap, so is anyone still interested in this? It kind of got forgotten about before.

I never played it. I heard that the single player was pretty good, but the multiplayer aspects were horrible. We considered briefly switching the server to NWN2, but NWN2 couldn't do it so we stayed with 1.
