I was recently introduced to this myself, and find it quite nice now that both GameSpy and Bioware decided they've got better things to do that play with us. So, without further ado, I bring you NWNCX.

The two things I like about it: One, it gets rid of that annoying connection to the Master Server which always fails. Two: It brings back the Server List, although it doesn't have all servers (I didn't see HP there, for instance).

(If it seems popular, I will move this into the Reference forum.)

That's actually a fairly decent suggestion. It's straightforward enough, there's a readme in the archive for more in depth instructions.
Just copy all the files (excluding folders) into the NWN install directory, and launch the game with the NWNCX_Loader rather than the regular nwnmain, and you're golden. As the site explains, not all of them work for all servers, but installing them also isn't going to hurt anything.

I've been trying to get the server listed in the list, and for some reason it won't do it. Says it's already added, yet it's not there.

I have recently been experiencing a lot of rather random crashes with NWN. I came upon this, which supposedly fix it. I tried and the game runs fine, but I have not yet had time to test it for extended periods of time. Still, if anyone else experience these crashes, this may be worth looking into.
