Background:
She hails from Shetland. First generation Scot by birth, but is ethnically Norwegian. She has dark blonde hair, brown eyes, on the shorter side, and rather thin. She also wears corrective lenses.

She has three other siblings: two older brothers and one younger sister, not in Hogwarts, yet. The older ones were in Ravenclaw (and have graduated,) the parents were a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. One grandparent was a squib, so as for pure-bloodedness, not quite?? It doesn't matter to her, or her family. The Horgans are a joyful, witty, and joking bunch, but it seems like Dagny's a bit of a black sheep, try as she might. She's a bit more serious than the rest of her family, and also more likely to break the rules in order to chase whatever is on her mind. The same habit transferred to Hogwarts, as some of the prefects may have noticed.

She is a very ambitious and resourceful person, as well as stubborn. Her alignment is chaotic neutral, and she more willing to lend a helping hand than not. She generally isn't very social and doesn't like most people, until she gets to know them. She enjoys studying people, though, and learning about history, potions, and many other things. She may or may not have a thing for Severus Snape.
Least favorite class is Runes. She just can't dig it.
She doesn't mind getting in trouble, if it's worth it in some way. She acknowledges the existence of authority, and that's about as far as it goes.
