Yashari is an awkwardly tall girl with black hair and dark brown eyes. She can typically be found writing notes on her hand about any number of odd interests of hers, from fauna and flora to interpersonal interactions she notices.

She was born in the United States although she has lived a number of places in Europe because of her mother's profession which is kept secret from her Yashari. She has never met her father, and her mother avoid any mention of his existence. She only found out a few weeks before coming to Hogwarts that she in fact the daughter of a wizard although as she looks back there were obvious signs that she was 'very different'. From constantly being the epicenter accidents and given the nickname "Messy Yassie" to her odd dreams that showed slight glimpses into the future.

Yashari is very worldly and knows three languages English and French fluently and a basic knowledge of Japanese. At times she can seem like a know-it-all. She has a longing to feel like she actually belongs and thought that she'd fit in at Hogwarts but during her first few weeks there feels more like an outsider than in the muggle word. She has a tendency to try to hide her emotions (especially extreme ones like rage and affection) but they trickle out through her small reaction like biting her lower lip softly and toying with her hair.

Yashari's goal at Hogwarts is simple. She wants to find out about her past and mostly to find out about her father.
