The Fairechild Sisters

Not a lot is known about their individual backgrounds. Their common thread is the mysterious and unexplained murders of all of their parents. They were all adopted by Mary and Stephen Fairechild who reside in the British countryside. Mary is a seamstress and homemaker. Stephen is the choir director and organist at the local church. Stephen’s one weakness aside from apple turnovers, is Beatles music. Stephen’s love of the 1960s rock/pop band led to his choice in names for all three girls.

Rita Fairechild
She is the oldest of the Fairchilde sisters.
Nickname: “Lovely Rita”
Hogwarts House: Griffindor
Loves: teddy bears, strawberry bubble gum and of course cute boys

Appearance:

5’8 and still growing, long brilliant red hair, green-hazel eyes, creamy skin with a few hints of freckles on her cheeks. She has the body of a dancer and moves with a well defined grace that has taken years of studio work to perfect.


Personality:

Rita is bubbly, girly, giggly, flirty and bold. When she makes her mind up about something she does it full steam without a second thought. Growing up with the attention of a skilled dancer she is a little self-absorbed. She rarely pays close attention to those around her but when the mood strikes her she is keenly in tune with the thoughts and feelings of others. She is truly gifted in divination but not terribly motivated. She would rather be a dancer.

Prudence Fairchild
She is the middle Fairechild sister.
Nickname: “Dear Prudence”
Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff
Loves: cuddly creatures, chocolate frogs and Gilderoy Lockhart books.

Appearance:

4’11. Shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned complexion. She could lovingly be described as a bit of a rollie pollie. She is short and plump and like most teenage girls she is especially self-conscious.



(I imagine her as a teenage version of Kathy Najimy but very insecure)

Personality:

Prudence is very shy. Spending her whole life in Rita’s shadow she tends to be soft spoken, withdrawn and very insecure about her body image. Having very few friends growing up Prudence devoted her love and attention on small animals and plants. Thus her favorite classes are the care of magical creatures and herbology. She has a certain affinity towards water plants particularly lilies and lotuses. She’s not particularly book smart but always tries her best.

Lucy Fairechild
She is the youngest of the Fairechild sisters.
Nickname: “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”
Hogwarts House: Slytherin
Loves: the violin, dark stories and verse, and the smell of lilacs.

Appearance:

5’3, long silky blonde hair of the lightest color with gray blue eyes often hidden behind her spectacles. She is an exceptionally attractive girl but does all she can to hide it. She despises the sort of attention her older sister Rita draws and strives to keep her looks well under wraps. She is slender and generally well formed but tends to wear slightly oversized although fashionable clothing. She bears a very large and unsightly scar along her back from below her right shoulder blade to her hip.




(I imagine her looking like Kirsten Dunst in the Virgin Suicides but with glasses and lighter hair)

Personality:

Lucy was once a care free child. Her adopted father was always doting especially because of her early interest in music. However prior to arriving to Hogwarts she started receiving secret anonymous letters discussing the nature of her parents untimely death and details regarding her family history. Lucy’s parents were death eaters who committed joint suicide during a crisis of conscious. Although she has no memory of this Lucy’s parents attempted to bring her to the next world with them however she survived and underwent extensive surgery and recovery as only a toddler. As more about her family is revealed to her she has become more dark and jaded. The only hint of her old self lies in her violin which she plays for several hours each day. When she plays it nearly breaks your heart.
