Appearance: Austin has striking features, luxurious jet-black hair (which is always in place), and penetrating steel gray eyes. Austin has a sleek body frame, which is probably due to the fact he has never had to do any real manual labor in his life. His eyes communicate an eerie mix of intelligence and mystery. Austin is always dressed in very well kept clothes (his personal house elf Misby seeing to this), which are always up to date with the current styles. Austin has the Frothingslosh house crest tattooed on his right shoulder (colored in green, black, and silver).

Personality: Austin is always looking for a way to further his standing. His goal in life is to get a lucrative job in potions like his father, Recis, in the Ministry. Austin is almost always seen smiling and networking with others around him. His face almost always show the same emotion of serenity, however behind the face the wheels of his brain are always turning, noting every little nuance, every inflection, and every touch of body language of those with whom he is interacting. Austin is never one to directly jump into a hazardous situation without forethought, unless of course he sees profit for himself in doing so. The best words that describe Austin are opportunist, tactician, and charmer. To Austin the game of politics is king with the entire world as his stadium.

Background: Growing up in uncertain times, Austin is no stranger to mistrust, scandals, and those that are prejudice against the rich. His family line has been potion master for centuries and the name Frothingslosh is synonymous with style, breeding, and potions that are far beyond normal standards. Austin as the eldest and only son so far is heir to the Frothingslosh estate and is quite ready even at this early age to take over. During the “dark times”, there were many inquiries and raids on the Frothingslosh manor house. No evidence of being in league with You Know Who was ever found. In fact one Auror was so outraged with the fact that the Ministry kept hassling the Frothingsloshes that after his search he retired to a tropical island with some money that he was given at Gringotts due to a “banking error”. With the total lack of any evidence, Recis remained at his post in the potions department at the Ministry. He also was on the Wizzengot that sent Barty Crouch Jr to Azkaban. Being good and upstanding citizens, his family helped liven the spirits of the wizarding world; there were many formal balls at the manor, in which people from various pureblood families could meet and discuss the issues of the day. These were grand events that normally led to quite a write in the Daily Prophet. With these good-will events, Austin’s family was always able to forge new good contacts and solidify the family as a leader in the wizarding world. Austin then began his career at Hogwarts, he was told before he left that if was placed anywhere but Slytherin to not bother coming home. Now he is looking to make his own way and contacts so he can carry on the Frothingslosh legacy of potion making and regal living.
