Physical Appearance...

Vincent is a well kept wizard bearing the immaculate physique and facial features of one who has spent the better part of his early childhood in relative pampering security. His strikingly bright emerald eyes shimmer with an intellect and wit not commonly found in most males his age, and his bleach blonde hair, which on occasion is either let down, slicked back, or pulled into a short ponytail gives him the look of a man freshly plucked from the comfort of extensive wealth and personal estate. Vincents height is fairly above average for his age, ranging at about two to three inches above the mean. His left forearm sports an intricate tattoo designed to represent two snakes coiling around each other in an upwards spiral, one of green hue and the other silver. An unrolled sheet of parchment is drawn beneath the tail-end of the twin snakes, and across its surface the following phrase is etched: Per abbas nos Ago , sic per abbas nos Intereo.

Personality...

At first glance it might seem as if the Sorting Hat has made some grave mistake in placing Vincent into the House of Slytherin. He's extremely well behaved, attentive in class, focused on his studies, polite to his elders, and courteous to women. The cause for his placement into Slytherin is due to the fact that his personality directly depends on who you are, who gave birth to you, what house you are from, and how pure your blood is. Vincent is a charming gentleman to like-minded and pure-blooded companions, and indeed for the sake of argument he has decided to apply this to all those he meets indiscriminately. The value of blood, however, has been thoroughly hammered into his psyche such that Vincent sees and weighs the worth of people mostly by the blood in their veins.

Personal Philosophy...

Knowledge is Power, and Power is a virtue that only those of noble blood are worthy of attaining. It is the sole purpose of the lesser-born halfbreeds and mudbloods to serve their superiors in all stations of society. The inclusion of Muggles into the birthing process of new magicians has tainted the gene pool; selective breeding must be enforced to preserve the well structured wizard society our ancestors have known for generations. Life is Strength, and Strength is a privilege that the Muggles do not possess. Natural Selection deems it necessary that we pursue the Knowledge of the true depths of magic to prolong our own lives whilst utilizing this Power to purge the Muggles, and all those they have tainted with their foul blood, from the face of the Earth.

History...

Vincent Seth Da'Ville was born into a wealthy French family, and is the only son of Adrianna De'Lacour and Maximilian Da'Ville. Shortly after his birth, his parents relocated their entire estate into the countryside of Russia, where the young Vincent was personally taught by his father in both academics and proper etiquette. After several years of tutelage, the family relocated yet again to England, as his father had received a position within the Ministry of Magic. His fathers original intentions were to send Vincent off to the Durmstrang Institute, but his new occupation made the family realize the great strains involved with shipping their only child off to a secluded school deep within the desolate wastelands of Eastern Europe. As a result, compromises were made and the young boy was instead shipped off to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, much to the chagrin of both the child and his parents. Alas, little could be done to rectify the situation, and so there he remained, within the stony walls of Hogwarts Castle, the dream of Durmstrang nothing but a faint memory, its light barely flickering amidst the heavy cloud of the future that now pressed itself down upon him.
