Gabriel Thade

Originally born in a small valley in the south of France. His parent (Sebastian and Helena Thade) who were originally Irish were taken from him at a very early age, accused of dark wizardry and taken to Askaban where they subsequently died. After his parents were arrested he was taken in by his uncle Argyle Thade who owned a small keep near Leitrum in northern Ireland. His Uncle raised him and brought him up to believe that he and all in his bloodline were descendants of the Tuatha De Danaan an ancient people who came to Ireland to wage war on the original inhabitants the Fir Bolg for dominion over the land. He was also told that his ability to wield magic stemmed from that heritage.

His uncle was strict, imposing discipline and etiquette upon him, and being of some wealth when the time came he funded and sent him to Hogwarts to learn all he can of the ways of magic. Originally being a member of the House of Slytherin himself he was pleased to learn that his nephew had been accepted into the graces of Slytherin. Gabriel himself is both eager and determined as he knows much is expected of him and he will not let his lineage down.

(OOC the Tuatha De Danaan is an actual real life Irish legend, not something i made up)
