A lifestyle of constant parties, and entertaining guests, the Maevenici household was always a busy place. Being brought up with the utmost manners, and the snobbiest of attitudes, Kestrel was taught that anything less than complete perfection was absolutely unacceptable. Feeling a more gentle warmth toward her father, Kestrel remains, as everyone believes, completely impassive toward her mother, thinking that she is the reason for their divorce. Kestrel's sister, Tali, resides with Kestrel's grandmother for the time being, as their mother suspiciously was brought to St. Mungo's with near-death wounds, soon after the divorce was finalized.

To most, Kestrel seems to be either rude or ignorant altogether. If by chance you are able to hold her attention past the mere formalities of conversation, she would be found to be quite polite and well-mannered. Her expression, usually remaining blank, can rarely be seen curving into a small smirk at the expense of someone else. Whether she is truely as cold hearted as she seems, or there is more underneath the cool facade, is something that has yet to be decided... Apparel: Kestrel is always impeccably dressed. Her clothing, as well as her accessories, stem from the most well-known designers in the world. She sports fashion from Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Italy. A diamond encrusted, platinum Ginza Tanaka purse can be seen dangling from her forearm on special occasions, while for classes she chooses the Chanel aligator scaled bag, as well as a handful of assorted silver, gold, and wooden bracelets. Adorning her fingers would be a generous amount of expensive looking rings, the golden band with the emerald never being removed.
The purses and her Egyptian ring are her two most favorite material posessions. The ring depicts a vibrant green Demantoid Garnet set within a sunburst center and flanked by two cobras amidst feathered wings. The Winged Solar Disk is the ancient symbol of the god Horus who has taken the form of the sun-disk with outstretched wings. The two cobras symbolize the goddesses Nekhbet and Uazet. Opposite the winged solar disk is an engraved Eye of Horus. This symbol is meant to protect one in the afterlife and also to ward off evil. Beside the Eye is an engraved Scarab Beetle which signifies rebirth, renewal and resurrection. Engraved on the inside is "الموت هو مجرد بداية" which translates to "Death is only the beginning."

Kestrel is unsure about her future plans and dreams, but she hopes to do something with ancient magical artifacts, or the restoration of magical jewelry. She also hopes to design and model clothing on the side.
