Ryiadrin is plump, shorter than most girls her age, with large, playful brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. There are no straight lines on Ry, except maybe for between her lips when she is angry, or scared. She has a button nose, round cheeks, and is commonly seen with a slight smirk on her face, as if looking at the world and getting the joke.
She is most often seen sporting her house colours - black and yellow, and has a burning hatred for wearing anything green - the fact that Slytheris adopt this colour just makes it worse. It is this house that is most often responsible for taunting her as well - usually about her weight.

Ry also has two nephews, fifteen cousins, all four grandparents, three uncles, four aunts and a great-grandmother, most of whom are magical folk from her mother's side. She lives in a seaside town near Cornwall, whose population is composed mainly of magical folk. Ryiadrin's mother met her father at Hogwarts, her mother being an exchange student from Spain.
Jonathan Stalrous owns a magnificent inn right on the seafront, which is well known for its fish and chip dinners as much as its ales. He was discharged from Hogwarts in his fifth year, after he suddenly lost of his magical power. The teams as St. Mungos declared it a medical mystery.
History
Miranda Stalrous was greatly surprised when Ryiadrin's acceptance letter from Hogwarts arrived. Like her older sister, Ry was beleived to have absolutely no magical powers.
This was not true. Several times, Ryiadrin had been followed by odd, tiny thunderstorms when she was upset - but this was put down to freak coastal currents. Upon discovery of her letter, Ryiadrin was so overjoyed that it ignited by accident. She was given her father's wand: something he had not been able to use since he was 16.
When the big day came, Ry packed up and boarded the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts. The adventure had only just begun...
School Life House:Hufflepuff Wand: Mahogany, Dragon Heartstring.
Best Subject: History of Magic. Ryiadrin is fascinated by the ghostly Professor Binns, despite how he bores others. She posesses a strong sense of narrative, and an almost obsessive interest in ghosts and spectres, and the stories of the past they tell.
Worst Subject: Arithmancy. Just the sight of a page of sums is enough to make Ry's brain squeak. Ryiadrin possesses a highly adventurous spirit, and her explorations of the castle and grounds have landed her in danger many times. She collects much of what she finds in an old wooden box of her mother’s; some as keepsakes, others as items of curiosity. She is often seen with her nose buried in a novel, and enjoys writing or telling her own stories immensely. She is not generally shy, although compared to her best friend Star Light she is completely autistic. She will act very cynically and petulantly if upset, and cries very rarely. Ry is stubborn and strong-willed, and is also able to deal with crippling amounts of pain or taunting without cracking. A good trait, considering she receives plenty of both.
Relationships
Boyfriend: Doesn't have one. Yet. But she has her eye on one Maximillian Engel, a hufflpuff boy in her year. She blushes uncontrollably when asked about him. Best Friend: Ryiadrin's best friend is Star Light, a first year also in her house. The two are almost always seen together.
Star Light: Ryiadrin’s best friend since she first stepped foot within Hogwarts, she and Star play together, eat together and even sleep together (their beds are adjacent to each other in the Hufflepuff dorms). Ry tries to be as supportive of Star as she can and provide a sort of emotional catch net for her. (Best Friends Forever, KSM)
Hirath Don Marzibilbo: This mysterious slytherin boy never removes his hood, and Ryiadrin regards him with suspicion, even though she considers him a friend after his support with the infamous “faceless man”. Hirath’s nonsensical outbursts and habits make Ry unsire whether to laugh, or just walk away veeery slowly... (Funny Farm, Neuroticfish) Maximillian Engel: A boy Ry happens to like. She doesn’t know him well, and is afraid to talk to him in case she screws it up majorly. (Black Roses Red, Alana Grace)
Trenton Meyer: Ry views Trenton as a complete idiot and a coward after she and a Gryffindor named Katie were attacked outside the Forbidden forest and he ran away even after his cat had killed the offending creature. Beforehand, he had attempted to save Katie and ended up cracking her skull on a rock garden, and Ryiadrin hates him strongly because of this. (Beat it, Michael Jackson)
Hogwarts: Hogwarts itself is chock-full of mysteries Ry can’t resist exploring. Her favourite place is the lake, where she’ll sit and watch the giant squid swim lazily around and the boats come and go. It reminds her of home. In the castle, the allure of the kitchens is also strong, and her favourite classroom is History of Magic, right next to her second favourite, the conservatory, where she and Star have been promised singing lessons. Elicia DeRosiers and Ryan Bishop: Ry sees these two as a sort of extra aunt and uncle.
