Marks/Scars/Tattoos: Tiny scars litter Rurian's face along with two one inch pieces of scar tissue that run down the sides of his mouth to just below his jaw line.

Physical Appearance: Rurian carries himself an air of confidence that complements his calm and quiet demeanor. Groomed black hair streams downward to meet an end just below his shoulders. Eyes, so ice blue that one could consider them silver in appearance, keep careful watch on his surroundings wherever he travels. As time has gone on, Rurian has seen a considerable growth spurt from his sixth year at Hogwarts. His body is tall and lithe, an appearance refined through a sparse diet and what one could only assume to be some sort of physical training regimen.

Charms: Exceeds Expectations - Charms, a part of a Wizard's everyday life. Rurian has never sought to neglect the subject.

Defense Against the Dark Arts: Exceeds Expectations- Rurian manages to get by through hard work studying, and some training from an outside source.

Divination: Acceptable - Until as of late, Rurian had never seen the need to study Divination thoroughly.

Herbology: Outstanding - Herbology was a necessity for Rurian to learn the interactions between ingredients in potions, proper care for Sprout's Delightful Mandrakes, and how to properly take care of a greenhouse worth of magical plants.

History of Magic: Exceeds Expectations - Despite Professor Binns' best efforts to bore the children of Hogwarts to death, Rurian has remained interested in the past of the muggle world. Particularly that of the Ministry of Magic.

Muggle Studies: Exceeds Expectations - Muggles are a peculiar thing, really. Their devices, while often barbaric and quite useless, can be used to accomplish extraordinary things outside their means. In this, the Wizarding World could surely learn a thing or two.

Potions: Outstanding - A beautiful subject in Rurian's eyes. Since his first year he has devoted most of his time toward this subject. With a passion that blazes beyond that of his peers, he certainly is as talented as the other aspiring potion masters currently attending Hogwarts.

Transfiguration: Poor- Rurian has always found it difficult to change his, or something elses, form to something else. This, unfortunately, transferred to his attempt at the Transfiguration OWL.

Personality: Rurian, while previously distant and rather shy around others, has grown accustomed to speaking with his peers. He often is seen tutoring younger years in potions work within the dungeons or in the library. However, he still seems to seclude himself to the emptier rooms of the castle when studying on his own. When speaking with Rurian, many would say that he is kind, patient, and rather knowledgeable on the subjects he has fixated on.

The prestigious Blackwing family is known for their active role in political intrigue across Europe as well a vast empire of wealth. Specifically, they are known for monopolizing trade in Magical Creatures throughout the known world. It is rumored that, at some point in their history, they were avid users of dark magic. For unknown incidents at the Durmstrang Institute, Rurian was forced to transfer to Hogwarts after two years.
