What's on the outside.
The boy has medium length charcoal black hair, that appears to be look after very seldom. It's a wavy shaggy mess that lays atop his head, though not too uncommon for a boy that young. Hair is usually the last thing on their minds. His eyes are a remarkable blue hue, in the fact that they are immensely dark, and deep but with an odd shimmer. Depicting a child's innocent spark in them. He has a deep tan constantly, his skin tone never lightening up due to his Spanish heritage. He speaks English, though it is coated with his thick, almost overbearing accent. Rafael usually wears a silky shirt and jeans when he is not in his house robes. However, the most important part to draw from his outfit is the gold necklace that hangs from his neck. It is in the shape of a cross, on the back of it the words "F.D" are inscribed. Rafael lacks the knowledge of what those letters mean, but it was a gift from his grandfather.
Inside the human casing
The boy appears to be a little on the uptight side. It could mostly be because he lacks a firm grasp on the English language. Rafael was brought up in a disciplined, and strict household. He is not one to really go out of his way to break the rules, however sometimes his immature, adventurous side gets the better of him. The young boy, despite his upbringing, is usually the victim of his passionate, hot-tempered personality more often then not. The opinionated Spaniard is quick to defend his beliefs with an unwavering conviction. He may come off as a little bold, or arrogant but, the boy is generally an all around nice guy. He'll be friends with almost anyone and will greet most with a humble smile.
Family, Home, Lineage
Rafael was born October twelfth in Valencia, Spain to Rodrigo Delgado and Valentina Mendez-Delgado. Brother to Vanessa Delgado. The family lived in a comfortable wealth inherited from Rafael's grandfather Azrael Delgado. Little else is known about the family, as it is rumored that Azrael was disowned from the family line for marrying a muggle. Even more so for spawning Rodrigo, a squib. Though, unknown to Rafael, Azrael is brother to Zephyr Delgado, who son was Alfonos, and in turn his offspring was the former Gryffindor prefect, and House keeper Felix Delgado. Cousins by blood, Rafael and Felix share a lot in common, the sound of their voice, appearance, and personalities are strikingly close. Despite being unaware of each others existence.
