Appearance
Jabari is tall for his age, currently standing just over five feet, and his build is just on the skinnier side of average. His skin is medium-dark, and he keeps his curly black hair trimmed short. His eyes are dark brown, often mistaken for black in all but the brightest and most direct light.
When he's not wearing his house robes, he usually wears trousers or shorts and a simple t-shirt, going barefoot in the warmest months and adding a sweater and sneakers in colder parts of the year. He always wears a necklace with a simple gold christian cross, though he usually tucks it away under his shirt, but the chain is often visible through the neck opening of his shirts.
He has a faded scar on the thumb-side of his left hand. It resembles a human bite mark, though small, as if inflicted by a child. One half is on the back of his hand, just under the base of the thumb, and the other other half is on the palm-side in the corresponding location.
PersonalityJabari is very serious, and rarely smiles. When he speaks, his accent is thick and of African origin.
Early lifeJabari Nwosu was the middle child of five sons born to a witch and wizard living in Angola. When Jabari was eight, his parents and two older brothers were killed. Fearing for the safety of the three remaining children, Jabari and his younger brothers were secretly evacuated from the country by English friends of the family, Mr and Mrs Bennett. Once they arrived in Britain, they were placed into separate foster homes and have had no contact since.
