Nickname: “Addled Andy” and "Drewbles". These are only two notable examples amongst a plethora of other insulting pseudonyms.
Place of Birth: Athens, Greece.
Family Background:
Growing up in a home outside of London, Andrew had a rather "quiet" childhood. In his younger years, all was comparatively well. Sadly, on Andrew's fifth birthday his father was murdered. To add more to the tragedy, Andrew was found standing over the corpse of his mother the next day. Evidence suggests that she endeavored to create a horcrux; having nowhere near the magical ability, the spell left her a shell of the woman she once was.
Andrew originally blamed a Death Eater for his mother's death, assuming she had been incited by one of her "friends". However, he now knows that they had no influence on the events surrounding the psychological deterioration (and subsequent death) of his mother.
Now suppressing much of his early childhood, Andrew was left in the not-so-tender care of an uncle and his House Elf. Rather negligent, his uncle left raising the child to the House Elf of Andy's late parents. Named "Gurp", the creature refurbished a summer cottage for the boy; the Big House had been maintained by Andrew's lineage for centuries but had since fallen into disrepair. In a state of chronic depression, the House Elf would wander the grounds (occasionally sweeping, or repairing the old stone walls). The summer after his 5th Year, Andrew vacated the manor (House Elf in tow) upon the strange and untimely death of his uncle.
Current: Andrew has been making an obvious attempt to matriculate back into his old circle of friends. He's been seen smiling, although in his somewhat crooked way, and even laughing with other students. Andrew is often away weekend nights but rarely misses an opportunity to meet up with some of his new friends.
Blood: Of a lineage that can be traced back to the year 764 B.C, Andrew has no misconception about the worth of his blood; and he has a habit of condescending students of lesser origins. Though he believes the blunt of worth is based on actions, not entirely heritage, he still works to conceal his dislike of a Mudblood who can cast a charm better than he. As far as he knows, Andrew has no living relatives.
Favorite School Subjects: Charms, Transfiguration and Ancient Runes.
Interests: Andrew's interests are a strange assortment. He has a bizarre affinity towards magical creatures and a nigh-prodigious force of will, devoting the majority of his time to learning more, and more, and more. He tends to avoid his professors and peers, employing his free moments in 'private' matters.
Physical Traits: Andrew has changed quite a bit since his youth. He wears his hair shorter and sports a bit of stubble, adding to the 'macho' aspect of his appearance. His skin has paled somewhat and his grey-flecked blue eyes seem beleaguered. Andrew is still, however, deviously handsome; but far less 'stunning' than in his youth. He looks overworked or, on some days, even exhausted. This has worried a few of his friends but he continues to insist that he is fine.
Friends: Andrew is often perceived as a jerk; the fact that he appears to place little interest in his peers or their well being has earned him that title. The few people that do persevere through Andy's taciturn, self-isolating façade may notice that there is a slightly friendlier side to Andrew’s often stoic demeanor. Andy will constantly uphold what he believes in, whether it be the authenticity of the Quibbler or House Elf Rights.
Personality: Despite his good looks, Andy is riddled with questions concerning his self-worth and belonging. Prone to periods of bleak despondency, Andrew will often retreat into solitude if he feels particularly vulnerable. His greatest fears are of the dark and dying alone. As of late, his temper has shortened and he lashes out at students with much less provocation than in his younger years. He has grown angrier though endeavors to conceal that fact from his peers and Professors. His fatigue seems to temper that rage.
Wand: Gregorovich: Blackthorn and Dragon Heartstring, 12 and 3/4 inches, unyielding. The wand itself is a dark, deep charcoal color with strong grain. The general shape of it curves downward in a gradual, somewhat disjointed, bend. When waved, the wand remains stiff and inflexible.
Patronus: The result of Andrew's full-bodied Patronus Charm is a young tiger, merely a 'kitten'. It mirrors his personality through his timid and curious attitude but a tendency to show his anger or rage in a violent, explosive manner. The tiger is majestic and shows both the compulsive and compelling aspects of Andrew's personality.
Preferred Style of Combat:
Andrew is a cold, cruel and efficient duelist. His stance is poised and ready for offense. Andy fights without compassion for his fellow peers, he is a tempest of brute force. Should Andrew feel he might lose a duel, he'll take any steps necessary to crush his opponent. He has blown story-high windows to pieces just to prove a point. Overall, Andrew is frightening to watch - even in a 'friendly match'.
Andrew's attitude towards the duels held in Hogwarts is condescending at best. He is of the opinion that real duels are battles of will and power, not a short exchange of jinxes. Though Andy seems to prefer a caliber of duel beyond those that occur in the Chamber, he's not above devastating a few students now and again.

Dislikes: People who refuse to treat their House Elves with respect. Illiterate Students. The colors orange, teal and puce. Muggles. Muggle Pollution.

Andrew sneaks out after curfew to have midnight tea with the House Elves in the Kitchens.
Andrew Extended the space in his wardrobe in order to store a collection of rare carnivorous plants.
Andrew has been scolded by Professor McGonagall for being too liberal with his 'wild oats'.
Andrew's alleged culinary palette is of first years, small second years, Cornish pixies, several small and furry woodland creatures, a House Elf and Professor Flitwick.

Views of the Staff Hogwarts has found a troubled and difficult student in Andy, and the faculty treat him with a certain degree of caution and restraint - reluctant to teach him magic they fear he might use against others. His disciplinary record since his suspension and wand loss is spotless but trust lost is hard to regain. He believes that the few Professors that still retain any shred of fondness for him are Flitwick, Trelawney and McGonagall.
Views on PeopleAndrew's outlook on the world is steadily improving, or at least it seems to be. He's been making new friendships and trying to rekindle the flames of old ones - Andy has even been seen chatting in the Entrance Hall (Puffskein in hand, or pocket).
Andrew's sudden change in demeanor has left some of his peers skeptical, there's always the possibilities that he's just pulling their strings.
