House: Gryffindor (but sometimes she almost seems like a Hufflepuff...) Year: Eighth. Duh. It's experimental, didn't you hear Dumbledore's announcement? Blood: Magic-y. Whatever. Nationality: Otherwhere? Maybe, maybe not. Likes: New friends, old friends, games, parties, creative use of spells, music, woofles, seeing new places and trying new things. Oh, and definitely ♥Drado. And pranking, though far less than she used to. Dislikes: Voodoo, boredom, vampires, normalcy, eggs, anyone who acts like a jerk-o, being ignored and/or forgotten, zombies (but not stories of them). Favorite Class: Charms, and to a lesser extent Transfig and CoMC. Least Favorite Class: Potions, but this is more of a Snape issue than anything else, since she does hold interest in the subject. Otherwise, anything that's all talk and no wands.
Family:
Howard, her father - a travelling waresman/kindly but eccentric smuggler that travels aboard an enchanted submarine. They rarely see eye to eye these days, partially due to his "voodooey" actions, and partially due to her interests.
Ana's mother is an enigmatic figure who she'll rarely speak of and doesn't seem to know much about in the first place. Where could she be? There's theories, but most are rather strange.
Other Fun Details:
In first and second year, Ana was far more mischievous - rarely seen without a firework, dungbomb, or other prank plan. Those days proved to be more trouble than they were worth, typically resulting in Ana serving detention after detention and not making many friends until she finally started to calm down a bit. Though, with that came its own problems, and in later years she found herself bit by the love bug far too often, usually resulting in terribly failed relationships with more others than she'd care to admit.
These days, though, she finally cured that problem by meeting a missing former friend in an odd place - Drado, who she's spent most of her time with ever since the warfare against LAM robbed her spirits and many connections away. She was surprised to find how well the two understood each other, and that togetherness has made her the happiest she's ever been in that sense, despite sometimes struggling to reconstruct broken friendships caused by the battles, even post-victory.
Ana also believes strongly in the theory of a parallel world, connected by magical Doors, which she calls Otherwhere. After all, she says, she's been there before and so have others. It's an abandoned, quiet and peaceful place, filled with magical energies and strange, psychedelic colors. Sometimes this interest becomes a borderline obsession, leading her to wear an Otherwhere-hued color morphing scarf when it's not too hot, doodling and painting landscapes of over there, and researching/imagining possible methods of Door creation and usage.
Ana is weird, and so are these songs.

A song for a former (one-sided) friend. (Warning, bad language)

Ana is a very friendly and occasionally helpful young girl with bright green eyes and auburn-brown hair. Usually she is to be found in the company of one of her small circle of close friends. Ana dislikes being alone, and will try to find a way to hold conversation with almost anyone, given the right opportunity, unless they personally upset her somehow. If that happens, she'll stay far away.
Nobody can quite figure out where she might've came from, despite her claims of purebloodedness, she will usually tell a story involving her father's life aboard a huge enchanted submarine, traveling the world to "spread cheer," as well as her bragging assertation that her great grandfather did, indeed, invent the Fanged Frisbee.
In first and second year, she was once typically spotted planting fireworks, dungbombs, and other such devices of mayhem about the school and its students, with a cheerful grin and a skip in her step. Her mischief has diminished since then, but on rare occasions it still might shine through. She's since given up her passing interest in learning "voodoo," though.
Ana also, eventually soon after, developed a problem - much to her dismay, she had discovered love, and this occasionally robbed her of much of her formerly carefree mood in favor of developing crushes and chasing boys. She endlessly hoped every day that she'd find someone to help return her to her former happiness, and spent her days with perhaps too many different partners, desperately trying to find one she could depend on.
In a later year, Ana disappeared for some time, citing an important trip with her father as the reason. She returned a bit disoriented, occasionally slipping into daydreams and mentioning someplace known only as Otherwhere. She now wears a thin, colorful scarf that seems to have swirled around a little more every day, but isn't quite sure where it might've came from, nor where her father really took her for all that time.
However, her thoughts of this mysterious place were eclipsed by what had begun to happen to the school in her absence. After a long and painful conflict, seemingly having been abandoned by most of those who she cared about, she was forced to hide and wondered if she would ever be able to return, having lost almost everything.
A light returned to the castle one day, though, restoring hope and uniting almost everyone against the common threat. Ana stood up to protect the one place she could ever have truly called a home, and despite a horrific battle, she emerged alive and in hopes that she could return to her former life at Hogwarts. She's still trying to pick up the broken pieces of her old circle of friends, but in doing so seems to have found a few new ones. Now, Ana is seen spending the most time around the mysterious Drado.
