Emberlynn was born in Chicago to Jane and Raymond Londell, both of whom were muggles. She knew there was something strange about herself, but she could never place it. The day she received her letter was a relief to everyone else. It meant freedom. She would be gone. The surprise was not deadened by this, however, but it did help. Her family was not hesitant to send her off, though they were sure most families in their situation would be. Emberlynn would have someone to protect her, though, as her best friend had also received that letter. She would not be alone, and therefore, she would be safe.
