Annie comes from a long line of wizards and witches, a quiet, secluded and financially (very) well standing family which no one knows much about. They send a single child to Hogwarts every generation and after they finish their education they disappear from society again. You might have heard more about them somewhere if you follow the latest news in Alchemy, Potions, and general research fields.
Her family has tight roots in a certain part of Romania where they have a family gathering every winter and spends the days walking around the family castle while her relatives sleep.
(Great-great-great-great-great-great-)Grandfather Henrik was Annie's main source of parenting, while her parents just set a great deal of rules for her to follow, granddaddy was there telling her bedtime stories, teaching her right from wrong (in a perhaps twisted way) and how to play the organ.
Also, her family has never been in only one house at Hogwarts, they've been all over Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin alike.
Now, Annie herself is a frail and short (163cm ~ elven height in NWN) but cute looking girl. Thin body with a small waist, and rather flat-chested she looks as if she would break in half if you poked her. Her smile might reveal a bit sharper pair of canines, nothing unusual, just good for steaks.
She likes to wear her plain brown hair short and tidy.
Her eyes a shade of place icy blue making her glares feel icy cold.
Recently let her hair grow out longer, to a nice medium length, and dyed it blonde.
She can often be found in the potions or dueling room, and lately in the wizard chess chamber practicing dancing.
Rumor has it she failed her OWLs for Charms, Transfiguration and DADA and that's why she's spending so much time in the dueling chamber, practicing.
