Least Favorite School Subjects: History of Magic, Astronomy, Divination, anything with lists to be memorized with no practical application

Interests: Claire seems interested in creature comforts, being friends with everyone, and anything involving magic that produces immediate, tangible results.

Physical Appearance: Claire is quite pretty (Charisma 14), like the rest of her family she has blonde hair and strikingly blue eyes. She is slight of build and has obviously never done a day's labor in her life. She is a master of style, and her hair, makeup, jewelry, every aspect of her is always pristinely arranged for maximum effect.

Abilities: Nothing supernormal, but she has an above-average grasp of people and their motives, having been taught to properly entertain important guests of her family, and simply having moved in those circles, always watching.

Personality: Outwardly, Claire is gregarious and kind, often helping people for no reason at all, and, quite uncharacteristically of a Slytherin, is very free with her wealth with just about anyone. She never lords her pureblood status or her family's influence over anyone, treating even the poorest mudbloods as friends without batting an eye. She always carries excess sweets to hand out to others on whom she hopes to make an impression, always helps other students with their studies if she can, and while she will not throw herself between a bully and their victim, she will make efforts to end conflicts and promote peace. Inwardly, she is selfish and self-important. She will never give away something important to her, or that would put her in any kind of discomfort. Sacrifice is not something that is done without visible, tangible returns, though she keenly understands the term "investment". Her willingness to befriend anyone is purely for personal gain, she understands that a cheap chocolate frog now could well mean an important favor for herself later on. Friends who prove themselves weak and worthless will still receive smiles and kindness, but may find that she is too busy to offer them help anymore. She does not invoke her pureblood status simply because she feels it is not her own accomplishment, it is "loaned" power, and she wants to make a place of her own.
