As it says, I can't log on and my characters are disappearing from the selection screen, I have no idea what to do!

Yes, Also Evanine was there, but Riena disappeared first, and then if booted me when I tried to refresh the menu.

Actually looks like a server issue. Not sure what's happening, but I've noticed that the server seems to be filling up it's hard drive. Not even sure where this is happening, but it now has 0 bytes left on the drive. This probably affected a few things. I got last night's backup in case it's needed.

Ok, mystery solved, I know what was going on. It was user error on my part involving the command to back up the server. The problem has been fixed, but the issue remains that the server was running when it ran out of disk space. For now, I am going to attempt to simply restart the server and see if everything is alright. If you notice anything is broken with your character(s), please let me know immediately.
I'm running another backup now, I will post in the Announcements thread when the server is back up.

The following people, according to the logs, were logged in when the server crashed:
Lily Stargazer
"Am�lie Le’Rouche"
Omaanra whitefire
Holly Fox
Those people may experience issues with their character files or database. There's no way I can tell for sure if anything was affected until you attempt to log in with those characters.
Omaanra whitefire was experiencing a malfunction causing the server to boot the character. This was due to the drive space issue. The character may continue to be booted even though the issue is corrected. If this is the case, contact me and I will attempt to fix it.
