All the new subject skills and stuff made me think about something I always wondered about.
When you cast an offensive Wand spell (non NWN spell) what decides the DC etc. that has to be beaten to resist it. Is it a flat DC or does it rise when you gain in years or due to skills or stats?

It's a flat DC....

It is calculated the same as NWN spells are, based on the caster level. It will probably be changing for all spells soon, even NWN to be more RP based.
