Could the IC DM team maybe get together for a short while and say for sure which spells can be RPed as a spell known by everybody, but not a wand spell, and the RPable spells that are, again, not wand spells, but have to be learned through DM acceptance and IC learning? It's not good when a DM says you can't know a spell after another DM said it should be known. Of course, DMs don't -have- to enforce or say this. At all. It's just something that would be nice to know, so these mix-ups don't happen as often. Also, which NWN spells we can RP as a particular HP spell? (e.g. Tasha's Hideous Laughter being Riktusempra) Or maybe say if we ICly know a NWN spell, we assume the character knows the similar spell? |

This will be made more clear in the new curriculum. But I feel that NWN spells and HP spells shouldn't be assumed to be one and the same. So far there has been a trend to RP NWN spells as lesser or more basic forms of HP spells, and I like that idea myself. (In part because currently they're easier to acquire, although with the new curriculum they'll be worked into the system, also, ideally.) All magic should have levels of expertise and degrees of effectiveness, and this is an underlying idea for the new curriculum. |

Right, okay. So...can someone tell me what spells are RPable and known, and which are RPable and have to be learned? ...Bueller? Bueller? |

No, there isn't really a list. This hasn't been defined. That's why we are making a new curriculum. |
