I'd enjoy fiddling around with it, but as the main builder it's pretty important for me to know exactly what the majority of people see when they log in, without any added fun stuff. :/

Personally, I'd be interested in seeing some before/after screenies, although I won't ask anyone to go to the trouble. I suppose I just don't see any -improvement-. Things just seem... well, different. Not better, just different. I haven't tried it, though, so I wouldn't know for sure.

Note: I have lowest settings for graphics on.

Interesting observation. I'm at maxed settings all across the board, so that might explain a bit of the discrepancy I was feeling. Elemental Priestess/Shadow of Life, may I ask what gfx settings you've screenied at?

The very first ones I took were at maximum graphics, due to those being taken on my desktop. The second batch however was on my laptop, which the highest I can get away with was "good", but I usually run it at the lowest for the sake of not wanting to fry my machine. I have stable internet being installed tomorrow for the desktop, so I will take some before and after shots at max graphics and set up a gallery.

While I, in no way, am trying to discourage the use of optional hak's like this, feel that the obvious needs to be pointed out. Altering the universe, even slightly, changes things so that your PC may see stuff and be like "OH! Look at that beeee-u-tiful tree!" And everyone around you stares, "What Tree?" So your pc continues... "A tree, it's right there!" But, no actually, it's not. So, just saying be prepared if you add tweaks like this that it will alter your own pc's view, NOT everyone elses. My point? The original design trumps any additions, if most people can't see the tree, your pc is either going to be considered nuts, or you need to go with the majority on the decision, There Is No Tree.

Did that makes sense? :D

Sometimes it's not an optional hak that make some see "trees" :D

But I too, try not to stray away from what the builders intended things to look like.

Cool Idea though.

So much so, I added a quote to my signature.
