Why post to point it out?

Because I am seriously curious about it, most forums I've been on it was concidered spam to do so and actually a semi-serious offense. *Shrug*

There's a strong schism between formal and intimate forums when it comes to double posting, in my experience. The more formal a forum is (the larger the user base, the more and stricter rules in place, the "broader" the theme for the forum), the higher the chance that double posting is something viewed as a transgression. On the other hand, I've seen plenty of forums where double posting isn't even considered rude or "wrong", much less a violation of forum rules. Your Mileage May Vary, depending on exactly which forum you're on.

Double posting is only wrong if restricted by forum rules, and within reason. There's really absolutely no point in whining about it, either, unless you are completely obsessed by this topic. Are you? :|

Untrained magic is usually attached to emotions. So, I suspect that there's a chance any magical child could have something happen when feeling strong emotions. A super calm or centered kid may never notice! My guess.

It's like Ravenclaws dating Slytherins.
