I have come to a realization. De Harry Potter is de awesome. But anyway, sadly with Deathly Hallows out I've had to find new books to read, le sigh. It's tragic.

On a side note, anyone ever read the Sword of Truth series? Thus far, very good! :D

The Sword of Truth series (and pretty much anything by Terry Goodkind) is objectivist horseshit, and you should be ashamed of yourself for reading it! :D

Maybe, but I for one like to keep in mind whether the author has huge axes to grind or not when reading; if Shadow of Life had told us she's started to read Mein Kampf, I'd rather she knew it for what it was, at least.

well then i guess you wanna hear good news, even though Deathly Hallows is the last movie doesn't mean its really over, so what I'm trying to say is I've read on the internet that J.K.Rowling has been talking about writing 3 more Harry Potter books sometime about half a year ago so Hogwarts wouldn't end just yet, then weeks later I looked on the internet again and they said its confirmed that she -will- be writing 3 more books, with Daniel Radcliff involved

I wish I did, you don't have to believe me at this point, however, I can see -if- I can try to find it again

Three new books? With Daniel Radcliffe involved?

Good, because I sure do miss Daniel Radcliffe from the first seven books!

Well he talked to Rowling about it and said if shes gonna do 3 more then keep him in it so ya, and I found something that said the title for the 8th book is Harry Potter and the Dead Horse but I don't know anything more

I hope Rowling doesn't make more. I'm torn on it, of course because I do love the characters. But I think it would be a bad move. And 'Radcliffe' wouldn't be in the books, perhaps the movies if they were made into one since he's just the actor that plays Harry. If she's motivated by inspiration, and not by money or pressure from bloated movies/publications, then they MIGHT have a chance at success. Generally though, she's completed the series... let it be.

And Harry Potter and the Dead Horse? Wow. Sounds like a bad joke seeing as how the actor played in Equus. Maybe that relationship didn't pan out.

Hahahaha! It makes so much sense. Here's your link to the 8th book.
Warning: Link contains one curse word and plenty of sarcasm.

I don't get it either, to me that's actually a stupid name for a Harry Potter movie and no one isn't really getting tired of it, in fact millions of people want more but what Rowling should do with these next 3 books is make them prequels, the films already started off as he was a baby being given to his aunt and uncle up to when he turned 17, now she should show us how it all started leading to the beginning of the first film, Id like to see that, but Rowling never cared for the money in the first place, she didn't want her books turned into movies but she gave us what we wanted, now we gave her what she wanted which was a life and a place to live

I don't think you got the sarcasm Jigsaw.

From the same website:

1. beating a dead horse

When something is already dead, and you keep bringing it up over and over again.

2. beating a dead horse

It doesn't matter how much you want to continue riding; beating a dead horse is not going to get you anywhere.

If something is already done and over with there is no point in still talking about it.

Honestly Jigsaw, I really think you surf 4chan a bit to much (No offense intended).

For 1, the Prequels would probably would have to be either about Voldy or his parents.
2. I highly doubt she will because harry potter was something she felt, not something she wrote. No matter if every Potterfan imprisoned her and tried to make her write she wouldn't unless she felt it.
