He means every word he ever says ever, because he's HARRY POTTER!

I now understand why I have Star Wars wallpaper on my computer and Harry Potter books surrounding it...

*Regarding the Star Wars and HP theme similarities* I had a college professor who went on and on about how famous book's follow one of five formula's, don't ask me what those are, I didn't bother remembering! But Rowling followed one of those formula's and hit gold. So good on her! I liked Hermione's disinterest in Twilight... I now want to see a picture of her reading a book secretely with tears rolling down her eyes. I KNOW she'd be on Team Edward!!!

Given Hermione's logic, I'd say she'd be on team not-a-vampire-or-a-werewolf. But if she had to choose, I figure she'd be Team Jacob, logically.

Joseph Campbell wrote "The Hero with a Thousand Faces." It is a book that lays out how almost every legend has soooo many things in common, and it was one of George Lucas' primary drivers when he wrote the Star Wars stories. It's hard to read but well worth it if you get an urge.

Joseph Campbell, though yes your correct his stuff is hard to read, had one of the greatest minds in my opinion.
