Okay, here's the plan. And it's a solid plan! So we're going to roll with it .

Spend the "day" (I'm talking EST) in Diagon and such areas, unsorted and fresh. Roleplay your families, getting to know each other, etc. Buy all your school items together. If you remember, much of the initial friendships and rivalries of the books came out of the characters initial time spent in Diagon, pre-sorting. The big example, of course, being Harry and Draco disliking each other from the start. I will be around for much of this (until about 5pm EST) to roleplay NPCs of all sorts. I encourage any DMs with time on their hands during the day to do the same. I encourage -PCs- who have time on their hands to join in, remembering that we're roleplaying this as these characters pre-school shopping, so do a little time-bubbling if you can.

Once JB is able to log in (around his usual time, and thats around 10-11pm EST) we will begin the roleplay on the train, flowing into the crossing of the lake and the sorting. I will join in as soon as I return. Again, we encourage DMs and PCs alike to be involved however you can be.

I'll be there for the first part of it, anyways, on my PC, perhaps as a DM as well. I have something going on likely in the later afternoon/evening on Saturday, that I refuse to miss, as its my best friend's birthday. But I'll be there as long as I can, definately.

So basicly you will start at 6am for me? Now thats nasty. Not sure if I will make it.

I'll have Rowan there, of course! This'll be fun!

Well, I'll be there for as much of this as I can. I know I will at least be there for most of the daytime stuff, and I'll do what I can to stay for the train and sorting.

The only firm time for the group event is the train ride and actual Sorting later in the evening, Saturday night. During the day, GMs will be basically facilitating player RP in Diagon Alley. Characters will be interacting with their NPC families and new PC acquaintances for the most part. Players should feel free to come and go all during that time. Even if any of you cannot make it to the actual Hogwarts Express / Sorting event, you can catch up at a later time and still be considered a part of the group.

I havent been on the server recently because i'm trying to get in alot of sleep before this, as I'll be up all night. So if anyone's been missing Xem, there's the reason. Sorry.
