Posters have been placed around the usual places in the school....

The event will start on the 14th around 11 EST/9 server time as usual, however I'll try to open the area earlier than that if possible.



For the card contest, a template is located here. http://i.imgur.com/yZcwpi9.png
It's suggested to make your character's card ahead of time, to be posted here during the event.
Keep them simple and something your character would be capable of doing, please! "Stamps" are provided at the event, which are the symbols on the right which you can copy and paste onto the large heart template, as well as color however desired.
An RPed description will also be a great thing to include with the picture.

They're expecting nasty weather (again... sigh, will someone please get rid of all this snow?) tomorrow for me, so if for some reason I don't show up, that's why. If that happens, I'll be rescheduling this. Hopefully it won't happen, though.

Just a note before this thing starts, for when I'm able to get on:

Professors have decided to open this event to Hogwarts alumni who may be interested in attending, as well. Each individual must pick up a badge at the door which identifies them as such, and no alcohol or other intoxicating substances will be allowed on the grounds. Rowdy or otherwise troublesome individuals will be subject to removal from the school.

OOCly, I'll need to port you in once I'm able to get on, but I should be here (albeit in a partially AFK capacity) a bit early tonight before the event starts.

Kiera Hunter would show up at some point and quickly paste together a Valentine's card of her own. She looks quite smug as she sets it on the table.
Featured is a badger with a wand pointed (at?) its butt. Obnoxious stars surrounding it, and it has hypnotoad eyes.

Jade's card is colored almost entirely in purple marker. She has magically animated the wand to fire little blue sparks, and the drawing of Saturn just slightly wobbles.

The card is made on red paper. He used his wand to cut off the lower part of the heart. The hearts are scribbled in with black marker, and the words are written in the same marker.

Ronni puts in a hastily made card. There's no message other than their names, only stamps. Her handwriting seems pretty messy

The card looks a little less perfect than the picture, since Cray can't perfectly write by hand, but it's close, and the lettering is the same. The green is written in pen and marker, pen being used for the little details of the lettering and the clover. The background is colored in black pencil. There is no "to" or 'from", just simply the words and the little clover.

This is -supposed- to be Lockhart, (but my drawing skills aren't nearly as great as Roo's, however seeing as how she was drawing with markers...) On the back it says "No detentions please ♥ - Roo"
