I can't even think of the last time Rowan's cast a spell other than HP wand spells or, True Seeing. (Then again, that's within her nature as a character.) As was said before, it's all about the RP.

The way I see it, the moment game mechanics get in the way of creativity, the moment it's time to take another look at the path of the creativity itself.

I don't even remember really having to go out of my way to get scrolls, learn spells, etc, and I've got a wide berth of NWN spells available to me. A lot of the times it actually came down -to- RP. (ie. Asking other students, having a friend RP out a training session, etc) For the record, Rowan's a Cleric.

I say less worrying about this and more character development. The spells'll come.
