I've only had a couple character so far and I've only ever searched for a portrait for one of them. Any of you portrait tracking veterans willing to share some advice? I used Google search, trying numerous different word sets to find a decent picture for Edmund. It seemed to take forever to find anything, but then maybe it's just the nature of the beast. Are there any particular sites any of you use or does everyone more or less go at it like I did? Oh, and I've already been advised to make sure "Safe Search" is on.

I remember clicking on a search link that looked totally innocent and ending up with an advert for gay bear dating (gay guys who like really hairy men DX).

Yes that happened to me too, I was doing a school project and needed a rosebud you know, the bud from the flower. Typed rosebud in google and found an [budding rose] so horrible....

This is why I use NW Vault, even if a lot of the portraits don't fit for Hogwarts. There are also a lot that are okay, and the scariest thing you'll have to navigate is the big breasted women in chain mail bikinis. DXXX

Thanks for that classy tip, SilverNight. I also found many budding roses on Google when I searched for "rosebud".

Since google ajusts itself to make the research adapt to each PC (yes its true: Linky about Filter Bubbles ) I come to wonder who the hell used the computer before me and what sick stuff did they type?

Meh, I let Squeaky find all my character's portraits for me, so I don't have to filter through the pron. Although I'm proud to say that I found Styx and Andrew's models all by myself.
