I didn't see a thread on this (if there is, sorry, feel free to delete this)...
What expansions are needed to play on HP?
Karl says (8:30 PM):
Just figure out what expansions I need to play
Karl says (8:30 PM):
If any
Karl says (8:30 PM):
And if I can play with no expansions
More precisely, that^
Thank ya'.

You gotta have Shadows of the Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark.
Plus, all of CEP 2.
And possibly CEP 1.

You need NWN, SoU, HotU, and CEP 2.
NOT CEP 2.1

Note that the "Diamond" and "Platinum" editions of NWN come with both expansions. In that case the only other thing you need is CEP 2.0.

And I'm sure it's easy to torrent them.

He could just buy Diamond or Platinum edition and then sell his basic version on eBay or Craigslist

The original CD key is easy. I've found a generator that produces unique ones at a click. However, the other two were a lot harder to find a couple years back.

*nods* Its only $10. That's like half a week's allowance. Hell, maybe even less than half a week's allowance now a days.
...and I agree with Calan. Its a good game, ( besides Bioware making great RPGs to begin with) support them so they can keep making great games and so faint life that is Atari can live just a little longer.
