This HAK is optional, and currently in the "beta testing" phase. This HAK is -not- required in order to log into the server.

Contents:
Castle interior retexture (makes the walls and floor dark stone)
hands model override (gives hands detail)

The idea is that eventually we will replace some of the models in game with more HP-like models. Things like brooms and wands. Everything will always be compatible without the hak, so this hak will never be a required download. Instead, it will be optional like the portrait pack is.

Just download this file, and move it into your hak folder within your NWN folder. If prompted to overwrite, say "yes."

Please understand that this will affect the appearance of -any- module that you play in that has CEP 2 installed. This can be un-done at a later date, and I will provide a link soon for that.

Note: If you test this out, please post here if you find any places in the module that look out of place with the new re-texture, or if anything else appears to be broken.

Known bug: Not the whole castle is getting properly updated. Most of the hallways aren't seeing the change. I'll work on this as I can and see if I can figure out what's going on. Until then, feel free to check it out and see how the EH looks.

It appears as if this link and it's contents do no longer exist. Can I get this custom hak from somewhere else ?

I have the hak, but I don't know if Calan took it down for a reason(like, if it's broken).

Yeah it had some issues. Unfortunately it's been low-ish priority until we get more of the curriculum in. Feel free to try it out if someone gives it to you, but there is no warranty.

This hak no longer does what it once did. I forget if it ever changed anything other than the castle textures(I don't think the brooms or wands ever made it in), but we've had a castle re-design since this was released, so I don't believe it even makes any visible changes anymore. The old entrance hall looked pretty boring, but the new one looks great even without the hak!
