Direct Connect: server.wohp.net You may use server.wohp.net in place of a numeric IP now. This address will by dynamically updated to point to the correct IP if and when the IP changes. [ Current IP for WoHP as of February 21st, 2008. ] |

To direct connect to the server, look for a direct connect option button at the bottom of the GameSpy screen before you connect to the internet servers. GameSpy has its own set of issues. Even if you do not see the server on GameSpy, it does not always mean that you will be unable to connect via direct connect. |

And on that note, an interesting tidbit about launching the mod and direct connecting all in one simple icon, if you're on Windows: Go to your "My Computer" directory, and to the NWN directory. Find "NWN Main," right click, send to: desktop (create a shortcut). Right click on the icon. Click on "Properties." General Tab: rename to World of Harry Potter. Shortcut tab (target): C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\nwmain.exe +connect server.wohp.net Click OK. With this, you will have a direct connection to the mod without having to go through NWN and Gamespy. Not only will it save you time, it will reduce lag for everyone. |
