[April 21, 2009 - This thread is -waaay- out of date, current policies can be found in the FAQ section. -Calan] The current requirement is to have all players start new characters as belonging to one of the magic-using classes, because they have all been chosen to study at Hogwarts, obviously. Multiclasses will be available according to the following plan: • The first secondary class may be taken at Third Year. • One additional level in a second or third class may be taken each year thereafter. |

Actually, no, I'm sorry. This should be updated in accordance with the current server rules, which are posted both here in the forums and on the mod in the text of the new signs. No multiclassing is allowed currently without permission in advance from GMs and good RP reasoning for the multiclass. Obviously, some older characters are grandfathered in. We're not going to be sweeping them out all at once or anything. Once we have a new system for classes and classes (nwn ones and hogwarts ones) in place, functioning, and favored by most of us, then at that time we'll address what to do with the older characters to bring them in line for balance. I know the transition is less than perfect--particularly for those joining us later, but we will be compensatory and yielding for those with good RP while we're getting the new foundations built. Please bear with us. |

Oooh, good old days.. Still miss my Giant patronus. It couldn't take on a dementor though.. But either way, Patronus' are random, and I don't think there's a way for the DMs to change it, at the moment. *Edit because I can't spell/type.* |

Have been able to for a while, I believe. I had to have John's changed due to...well...a Hyena did not suit that boy, at all. Entirely wrong for the personality. |

Someone get rid of that stupid Otter!! Just catch a DM on and ask for a patronus change to something that suits your characters personality. If the Patronus I get doesn't suit, I ask for a change. Otherwise it's just weird. |

Actually the change patronus thing was broken for about a month or two and I don't think everyone is fully aware that it was fixed recently. |
