I just downloaded CEP 2.4.
They finally have a decent selection of short skirts! That's something I've been dying to have for ages! Some cool looking tops and long skirts too and a couple of nice coats for the men. Oh and the 'skirts' are all unisex, so if the men want to get into the greek look then they can. XD
Some um very [Jinx] looking tops as well that you'd be sure to get a detention for wearing around Hogwarts. XD And a couple of bikini type tops that would be good for swimwear. And I'm counting the difference between bikini and [Jinx] as whether or not the nipples are showing. DX
Also some new shoes that look more like a modern court shoe and new sandals.
Yes, I did look at nothing but the clothes. XD I think they have new rideable creatures as well, everything from bears to boars, but I don't think we can ride on HP?
Oh, and finally I tried to get back on the server after installing 2.4 and had no problems.

Yeah I downloaded CEP 2.4 and everything seemed to be fine when I logged onto the server. At least from what I could see anyways!

Be ready everyone... this could happen at any moment! I also wanted to run another idea by everyone... the idea of adding D20 Modern haks to the mod. D20 Modern is another set of standardized haks, similar to CEP. It adds modern tilesets, placeables, clothing, items, etc.

Most people still playing this game shouldn't have too much of a problem with downloading one additional hak file, now would they? I'm surprised you of all people would pitch this, however, considering it was decided long ago the server wouldn't any HAK paks beyond CEP and the custom portrait pack. Nevertheless a welcome change, I'm sure. =)

I think that it's something that would help the mod, since it's set in modern times and all(and lots of the characters wear muggle clothes, or try to as much as the mod allows). Also, the muggle areas could benefit from it, I think. The only thing that puts me off is the fact that it's a pretty big file. Still, having two hak-type things to download(the portrait pack isn't mandatory, it just looks nicer if you have it) is still much better than some servers.

Modern clothes options would be nice. As long as there aren't any modern placeables in Hogwarts; it would spoil the feel of it.

Okay, I'm back on the server after 3 months. Now that we have the new CEP 2.4 in the server, I heard the mention of ridable creatures and new clothing. Do you get the new clothing my buying it or crafting it?

As long as the modern haks aren't too large, I'm fine with it. Some modern clothing options would be nice, but wouldn't they be referred to as muggle clothing?
