I belive that Nix believes (heh strange sentance sry) that Nik was wrong by including his name in the list of things and saying he ran off. And yea Seril i thought it ran fine, i didnt get any lagg.

I got a very minimal amount, easily played with.
But even besides that, I thought it was running great, as in staff and how they played it and everything. Didn't really seem too "stirct" to me at all.

I haven't been on very much in the last week as I am preparing to go away on a long trip, so I didn't know anything about this situation until I read about it on the forums. Personally, I think the server has been doing incredibily well under Nik. Before Nik took over hosting the server there were other problems going on that were of a worse nature. I have been very satisfied with the way things are being run and I wouldn't have them any different. The new DM team is doing their best to fix up the server and even adding some more great things to it. Of course there are no rules stopping you from hosting your own version of the server, but think about it in a moral sense. Even if it was because you were upset with how things were being run, the polite way to solve this issue would have been to take it up and discuss it with Nik and the DM team along with the player base of this server before taking that action on your own. I don't want to start an argument all over again, but to me this sounds like things were done in a very bad way. Nix I don't think you should be asking Nik for an apology. He was telling us what he knew about what was going on. You should be aplogizing to him. Just because you were invited to DM on that other server didn't mean you had to go do it. Or was it just because you wanted to have that position? I think that this should have been talked out civilly between everyone before anything was done.

P.S. I will be gone for a couple of months, but I'll be on Nik's server if its here when I get back.

False accusations apparently. >.< Personally I consider anyone fool enough to ditch Nik to be a "black sheep" and just rank whoring for a DM/DM' favoured player spot on the new server. Sickening

Edit: And as for the mod, go for it. People don't come here for the mod
itself, or for the awesome scripting.

Kaz, its not that we are jumping at you, because I know that I certainly don't know the whole story. But thats exactly why I said it's important to talk to everyone about this first. Of course it is pefectly within your rights to hand around this mod, but it would have been nice if everyone could have talked about what was going on first and some resolution might have been able to be made first, instead of splitting up the player base and annoying a few people. It sounds like there was a misunderstanding to me and in those cases when neither side is really listening to the other, it is best for everyone to calm down for a bit and then talk civilly about it before one of them takes actions based on that. Those actions, as we can se here can lead to bigger problems. It would have been nice if all of us players knew what was going on and could discuss it before anything was done. Or even if both sides had discussed it without letting us know beforehand it would have been better, because this issue probably could have been resolved with a much more desireable solution. Either way, my point is that the most important part in any of this is communication and it seems to me atleast that there was none and you guys just decided to do this on your own without any regard for how the rest of us would like it.

jeeze i was just happy to see that the server was up. I almost feel like my presence is a curse, i joined the old server, all the problems with Sho come to finalization and it goes down like 2 weeks later. Come to this one about a little less than a month ago, now this happens.

Can't we all just get along?
