The server will be going down at approximately 3:30 today for module update, backup, and computer upgrade and maintenance. I expect down time to be 2-4 hours.
This update, among other things, will be migrating the database. Please keep in mind that small bugs can mean serious issues. If that happens, it may mean I will need to restore the current database, which means all data after this reset may be lost. Just be prepared for that possibility.
Time in AZ at the time of this post is 9:00 am.

The estimated down time is still at about an hour from this post. The good news is the dry-run on the test server worked well, I expect things to go smoothly on the live server.

If all goes well, the server will be up shortly, but there will be a password for players for a while. I will verify everything is working properly before opening the server up for all. Assuming all goes well, the server will be open in 15 or so minutes.

The server is officially open once again. Log in at will... please remember that bugs may or may not require a loss of data back to the point before the update. I don't think it will happen, but please know it's possible.

I have spent all morning attempting to fix the error in the Ottery Countryside, only to screw up the master module so much it won't even load. Do not take your PC to the Ottery Countryside, it will crash your NWN and your PC will be stuck. I am working on this issue as fast as I can, and once fixed, I will update the server.
Also, due to an error in the server startup script, the server is listed in the. "Action" section rather than the "Role Play." That will be corrected as well.

The power went out at about 6:30 am AZ time. I shut sown the server about 45 minutes later, before the UPS went out on the server computer. The server will be back up as soon as power is restored.
Update: Power company expects power to be out for 4 hours.

Apparently I slept through the power coming back up.... but it's up now, and so's the server.

Update: Unfortunately it appears that this may be the CPU. Not 100% sure yet... I'm going to see what I can do. I'll post again as I know more.

Heading out to purchase a new CPU. I'm about 75% sure it's the CPU. I hope is is because buying a new one will suck if it's something else. If I'm wrong, server will probably be down until tomorrow morning. Either way, it will be back up tomorrow or earlier.

$375 later... and the computer isn't working yet. It's possible it's the power supply. If that's the case the computer will not be up until I go back to the store tomorrow to push it past the $400 mark.
