Word around the hall is that before curfew Shaant Cys'Varion and Ronni Malle were seen dancing while he sang... Five Finger Death Punch to her....? But apparently it ended by her chasing him out the room. Those Slytherins.... They're so weird.

Roo didn't show up to any of her classes today. Maybe she's sick. (This is after the roof night, you two).

The night before Roo's lack of appearance, some Hufflepuffs mentioned that they saw Sam McKinnon down by the kitchens, and he looked a bit drunk. Yelling something about stairs, and a dog. At any rate, he didn't hang around for long...maybe he was just being weird?

Rumours that can be heard lately:

Dumbledore's source of power is his beard. The core of his wand is hair from his beard.
He grew his beard since he was a firstie. In fact, he had that beard since his birth. Her mother had it too. So that explains the length.
That and the fact that he's a thousand years old. Which is true and not true, because time began to flow when Dumbledore decided it. Like Chuck Norris.
Oh. And yeah Dumbledore doesn't die, he just cocoons himself in his beard and then emerges a week later as a younger Dumbledore.
The point is: Dumbledore is probably another incarnation of the Doctor...

Also, have you seen the toilet near the central pillar on the Main Hall?

Students may hear a little something along the lines of this through the ever-blossoming grapevine growing within Hogwarts:

Tom Summers, now seen wearing MLE robes (or a cheap knock-off thereof), returned to Hogwarts and started asking questions to several students.

It seems to involve Ian and Drathil somehow. Something about them being "best buddies" or something.

He was also seen walking out of the entrance hall with Amber Ramsay in tow. What's up with that, one might wonder?

It's not the first time the MLE has been spotted going about their business around the school lately, either. Is this merely former students coming in for a chat, or the prelude to a hostile takeover by the Ministry of Magic? Has Gwendolyn Summers sent her son as a scout to check for weaknesses?!? ...Time will tell.

In response to the rumors of MLE incursion, advice emerges that you should never sit with your back to the front doors, because next thing you know, Evil Auror Edeson will be walking through them. And that's when we're all doomed!

For the last few days, Cray's presence has been scarce around the castle. He has only been seen in classes, arriving right on time, and leaving as soon as the bell tolls for the period to be over, avoiding any chit chat with peers. As far as curfew patrol goes, he has been seen in the Entrance Hall right as curfew begins and heads back to... where ever he disappears to when the clock strikes 5 AM. ((OOC, I will be gone for 2 weeks, however this will continue for the entire time I will be gone.))

Those who pass through the Entrance Hall after a late dinner would see the suits of armor have been rather poorly markered on in different colors. The ones near the Great Hall, at the top of the chest say 'Great Hall' and have pictures of different foods. Mostly meats and potatoes. The ones near the entrance/exit say 'Exit' on them and have pictures of different trees. Very poorly drawn, rather streaky.

Poor Filch not long before curfew would be seen griping and wiping. Poor guy, some hooligan is always making his job harder than it should be.

In other news.... A random boy would be running around the Slytherin common room calling for firsties, seems he wants to do an early bedtime story telling.... See what studying all the time does to people? It drives them bonkers....

What was with Hogwarts today? Arguments and fights - magical and muggle - all over the place. Did someone swap the pumpkin juice out for draught of short tempers at breakfast or something? Flitwick was spotted floating Kimi Rachel, Drathil Vortec and Ronni Malle up the stairs in individual bubbles - word in the halls is that he came across them fighting, and had to magically separate them to get them to stop.

Also, students attempting to navigate the afternoon halls would remember the annoying detour they had to take around the entrance hall. Somebody set off a portable swamp down there, the stench could be smelled in the stairs as high as the 5th floor!

A tall and hooded figure adorned in all black, wearing no House Colors, and obviously older than that of a student was seen calmly stalking through the Castle. He'd completely ignore anyone making any notice of him, his face hidden behind a magical hood that shrouds him like a black void. He'd then vanish to not be seen again, not leaving thru the front doors though.

Some also claim to have seen a very, very large black snake that day. Slithering calmly and slowly thru the Hallways, also ignoring everyone it passed and hissing intimidatingly at anyone that dared get in it's way, obviously threatening the person become it's next meal with ease...

Amateur psychologists of Hogwarts may have noticed a conversation in the Entrance hall today taking place between Ravenclaws Sam, Roo and Klaus, a new member of the house. Sam's protests, unfortunate assumptions, and frantic explanations suggested a textbook Oedipus Complex. Curious, curious indeed. A few jokes are even exchanged among the less mature teen boys of Hogwarts regarding Sam's mum, how she's so hot even her own son apparently can't stop thinking about snogging her.

Some ball of rage managed to knock over every single chair and couch in the Ravenclaw common rooms. They scattered the pillows and- get this - they even disorganized the bookshelves.


Well, at least some poor soul is going to have a long time of entertainment reorganizing all those damn books.

Some would go even as far to say that not only was the furniture overturned but it was also charred and was repaired the next morning by the House Elfs that would fix the common rooms to their original state of upwards furniture.

This would never have been allowed to happen if Karen Bonoa had still been a prefect at Hogwarts. Why'd she have to go and graduate? When are we going to get another decent Ravenclaw prefect who actually cares about the welfare of books?

...gripe the Ravenclaws at breakfast.
