2nd year Markus Roman is seen wearing a hood a lot more lately to conceal his features, when asked why he mumbles about a alchemical experiment gone wrong.. When his features are revealed some murmur about odd pointed ears upon him now.. It is not unknown that Markus is an exemplary potions student, and that he spends much of his spare time working with alchemical studies, and it comes at no surprise that his constant dabbling resulted in some odd change now, some might remark at his odd green hair as well now which he has taken to coloring as such.

Deep in the Dueling Hall of Hogwarts a student has become a permanent fixture, 15 year old Bartlby Sykes never seems to leave. And when he does it is only for eating and classes. In second year people used to ask in jest if he lived there now it is spoken as a tactful broach to real concerns.

It seems there was some sort of insect infestation at Hogwarts this morning! Students heard an announcement from McGonagall over the intercom("May I have your attention please. Any students who have observed mysterious puffs of flame this morning must report to the hospital wing immediately.") and the hospital wing was said to be quite busy well into the afternoon. Professors seem optimistic that the worst is over, but say that they won't know for sure until a few days have passed.

After said announcement by McG about the invasion of unseen fire insects...

Drathil would be seen adorning long white robes that are infamously known as Hospital Wing PJ's, wearing them far longer than those who were having to wear them with him, and doing it pridefully. He seems to enjoy sporting them, and finds them rather 'badass'. He would also go around claiming that Madam Pomfrey lotioned up his tail privately, and that he single-handedly vanquished the bugs due to being such an incredible Squirrel Musketeer; having been adorning a Musketeer outfit and sword during the events.

By breakfast, a new rumour would circulating: Amber Ramsay, and Samantha Hathaway had a falling-out in the Hufflepuff Commons shortly before curfew. Although such an occurrence usually isn’t worthy of much notice to those outside the ranks of the rumour-mongering Hufflepuffs, the fact the falling-out was regarding the Slytherin Male Prefect, Lance Silverston, has fuelled the spread. What began as a minor insult quickly degraded into a brief, but friendship-ending argument. Details are sketchy, but it appears Amber is still willing to jump to Lance’s defence despite everything that has happened since the rather brutal end of their relationship last year.

Rumors abound that, "Lance is a dud," "Lance is an idiot," and "Lance eats his own boogers."

After several days without sign of further insect trouble, the consensus among students is that the infestation was successfully overcome. If any professors were asked about the topic, they would agree, and praise the dedication of students to making sure every possible source of re-infestation was eradicated.

A rumor begins to circulate, mainly with the younger students that a giant snake roams the halls at night. Attacking anyone who crosses paths with it.

Pretty much the entire school would be talking about how the school is rumored to be shutting down, and turned into an exhibit or 'museum'. Students would find upon waking up that the Entrance Hall, fallen first victim to this obviously legit and arising idea, is covered and displayed in what looks to be a Museum-like set-up...

... All Professors questioned would give similar answers, along the lines of "No, no, most definitely isn't, we have no idea where everyone is getting this idea."

A typical line from suspecting yet devious Professors obviously eager to sell the school off to a Museum society for a few galleons!

It seems there was a fire in the Hufflepuff common room this morning. Evidence of a decent-sized blaze on the scribing table and subsequent drenching in water would be obvious through most of the day, until house elves cleaned it up. Anyone who approached to inspect the area would find the remnants of a necklace craft assigned for first year DADA class.

In an entirely unrelated(yeah, right) rumor, first year Hufflepuff student Madeline Ingleman was spotted running through the entrance hall shouting for help before collapsing. It seems she spent most of the rest of the day in the hospital wing, only being released for dinner.

Apparently there's a new superhero at Hogwarts, known as "The Great HuffleBee" who's obviously some strange Hufflepuff girl. She was apparently searching the entrance hall for someone to rescue.

Students attending morning classes on the 7th floor would notice rude words and suggestions involving many professors and famous witches and wizards drawn on the 7th floor windows in what appears to be radioactive green snot. A pair of Slytherin students were spotted serving detention cleaning them up, though some students claim that wasn't their crime - something about setting off house pride powder bombs the evening before, and getting caught by McGonagall.

By now, I'm sure the entire school would probably have found out the recent events revolving around Cray and Shaant. Rumor has it that a few days ago, the two got into such a big argument that the boys headed to the Dueling Chamber to fight it out physically, hence the hood-covered bruises on both of the boys' faces. However, even through such violence between the two, Cray was heard sticking up for Shaant and their relationship, quite loudly, in the Great Hall just a day after. Some think that Cray is just in denial and doesn't want to admit the fact that his relationship is in shambles. Others say that there is no possible way Shaant and Cray could ever break up, and the fight was simply to practice muggle fighting, as they have been seen doing before. If the fight was real... What could possibly be so bad for them to take it out so violently on each other, especially since they are hardly ever not seen cuddling when they are together. And who would leave bruises on their face when Pomfrey is just a floor above the Entrance Hall???? Curious, indeed.

The usually-prompt Hogwarts Express was delayed for ten minutes at the start of term today. What could have gone wrong? Rumor has it, some students got lost on their way to the train, and Hagrid had to go get them before it could leave! Who could it have been? Probably some Gryffindors too stupid to read the map, or Hufflepuffs spacing out all the time, or Ravenclaws overthinking the navigation process, or Slytherins being too proud to ask for directions. Man, <insert house here> is so stupid!
