Terry sat in the library rubbing his temples, and sighing over his translation work of the Book of the Dead. The last translation had been done by a Muggle named Budge in the 1800's, but he merely used a literal translation. One of a magical mindset, and a willingness to read between the lines could see what the ancient Egyptians had hidden within the text.

She wanted the impossible. How could a soul be restored to the body that always housed it, when the death had occurred many years ago and the body had been moldering for that time? In all the research he had done, and in all the tomes he had read, Elders could not find anything that resembled what she wanted.

In the meantime, Terry was considering a very dangerous prospect. Asking the Lady for help. For some reason, he felt that she would be all too eager to be of aid in this endeavor... All the help he could muster would be needed for this vital task... The fellow was deteriorating, becoming more unstable, yet luring people to his side. Something needed to be done before more people were twisted to his ends.

Seril Kane and Rosdion Nifien seem to have fallen victim to a deadly mass of undead. On returning from a trip, they were quite un-social, covered in blood, and their robes were tattered and torn all over. Ros ended up with a sprained ankle and broken arm, yet Seril seems to have come out relativly unharmed, despite a few scratches here and there.

Jam continually fills the halls. Every couple of days, reports of Jam Men carrying bulding supplies through the halls are spread to one another. Fights between the Left and the Right, General Smucker's and Lord Welch's men in the entrance hall.
One rumor says Necrolissica infiltrated the kitchen after Welch's men took it from the Left. She defeated a good portion of the men, but they were too many, and she was taken captive. A small party, of only Seril and Felien, went in for her and successfully defeated what troops remained, as well as bringing Liss back out alive, despite the burden of a young Amber Raind.

For the next day or so, there are remains of a minor skirmish in the Courtyard. Small piles of snow are everywhere and there seems to be some sort of wall or barrier in one of the corners, though it has been broken in a few places. There are also a couple of snow angels in the snow, though oddly enough, they have tails and pointed horns.
And right in the middle of one of the pathways is a snowman with wings. Bertie Botts beans make up its mouth, knotted roots are its eyes, and a bit of parchment has been used for a nose.

And Filch is annoyed for the rest of the night about puddles and tracks leading into the corridor from the courtyard.

Whispering rakes the halls like an inferno. Not a tongue left unflicking, not an ear left unhearing... There's some manner of wild animal in the Ravenclaw common, in one of the boy's dorm rooms. It pounds itself against the walls at night, screaming. Often, some students claim they can smell burning skin coming from the room. But whenever someone looks, there's just a plain black-and-white cat asleep on a bed in the center of the utter mess the room seems to have become.

Also, a girl was seen in that very common, going into that very room recently. Someone who didn't belong. A Gryffindor-garbed girl, definitely about sixteen or older. She left shortly enough, though there was talking coming from the room; a shouting male voice as well as the Gryffindor's.

Stories are circulating about Terry either killing or nearly killing a man who, some stories say; either tried to harm Liss; attempted to kidnap Liss, Sierra, Taylor, and Terry; or killed a man and tried to make the students help him conceal the body.

Another story is going around that Terry ended up spending a very scary hour at Azkaban as punishment for the previous incident. Terry has confirmed the time in Azkaban, but said it was because one Professor Demetriov of Durmstrang was visiting a prisoner, there.

A rumor crops up amongst the first years that Priggo Seville is in fact
a Charles Manson worshipping cultist who uses a pressurized, magically
treated powder concealed in his umbrella to hypnotize and brainwash
followers.

He may or may not be planning to make his cult of yuppie fangirls commit
mass-suicide by drinking poisoned gatorade.

Note to Nik. This thread is for rumors and gossip, not fact.

Several students ... who would never go to a place like the Shack ... would have noticed ... if they were ever there ... several of the resident werewolves being found in what appears to be either a magically or drug-induced stupor. Damage to these poor unfortunate creatures, other than the obvious lethargy, was ... if anyone had really seen such ... minimal.

The rumor that an unknown number of students visited the inferni caves near durmstrang and ended up coming back with injuries that required at least one student to be placed in the hospital wing for 2 days.

Madam Pomfrey refused to let anyone enter the room that the student was said to be in reprimanding the questioners and threatening detention if they bothered ANY of the students that needed rest.

Some boy and/or student was hexing the living magic out of two students in the Entrance Hall this evening, just before curfew. He was only seen once, wearing a full body outfit of black with silver cuffs, and a mask. His voice was muffled and disguised, making it near impossible to identiy.

His main victim was Amber Raind, of Hufflepuff. The only thing she could sputter out between hexes was "RETARD!", and then was hexed again. It was some very complex hexing, with all the precautions taken to keep from being caught or even seen. Some people say it was a ninja, others claim it was a two-man team, or even a group of pranksters.

Who he, or they as the case may be, actually was, no one knows.

Terry Elders, Liss' fiance, has left the school on an extended research trip. Depending on the circle of friends, some say the reason he left is to gain money and repute for Liss and Terry's future, and others say because of the abrupt nature of his departure (and an apparent failure to even say good bye) it is obvious he left because he cannot stand to be around Liss and needed a break, or even a way to end the relationship without getting killed.

It is plain to see to anyone around Liss that she has reverted to her old self, and possibly beyond that- rumors of her torturing students with powerful hexes, for naught but mere fun, are spreading.

All rumors aside, Liss is appearing somewhat sickly, pale, and physically weak. This may or may not have anything to do with Terry's departure.
