And there it sat. The journal, that had the dust on it rest it for so long. The binding was taped. The cover, scrawled on. The sides of the pages that were visible through the end of the book, scrawled on with poetry and other incoherent writings covered by the rambling smudges of ink. On the cover was a circle, with words scribbled on it. It was a circle - or so it seemed at first. At the very top, was a break, a small space for just another word. Before and after each word was a large line, causing the break in the center to be surrounded by two lines. From upper-left to upper-right, counter-clockwise, the words read: "Love Hate Passion Fury Destiny" And, in the center, where the break was, in the hole of the imperfect circle.. Rested a question mark. |

The scrawled font covers the front page, the text flowing, the arrangement of the words angellic in font, wide and written with bright blue ink, contrary to the darkened content that floated within the candy-coated text. People. People come. People go. Everyone's on the move. Never stops and smells the roses. Vices. Relationships. Casual [censored for boards]ing. Bodily functions. Sleeping. No-one enjoys what they can anymore. Made up with Myth. Messed with Andrew's mind. Hung out with Nathan. Nathan and I. We're two of a kind. More kids like him would make the world a better place. Myth's cute, but a bit lightheaded. I don't get her some of the times. Kent's more like her follower than her lover. Kindof sickening. Andrew's a [censored for boards]head. Nothing more to it. I'm finally picking myself up off the floor and doing what I can. Welcome to Hogwarts, Adrian. Here the text ends, cut off by the ripping of the very bottom of the page, giving some view into the next, as-so-far unwritten on page. |
