The doorknob on the door slowely creaked and twisted as someone opened it from outside. At first it slowely began to open, and then it was blown open, slamming against the wall. A dark figure standing at the doorway. The figure is wearing a fancy black cloth shirt which is sleeveless. At his wrists are a pair of unique gauntlets which seem to jet up his arm slightly like spikes, they are pure black with a trim of perfect green. He wears upper-class pure black pants which are kept tightly on him by a belt which is black with green trim on the top and bottom all the way around. He wears sharp black boots on his feet, the pants overlapping the top of the boots. There is a elegant black cloak loosely clinging to him. The cloak being held to him by a extravegant pin. The pin is a diamond shape with a silver outlining. The middle is a dark green and in the exact middle of the green there is a silver-colored snake in the shape of an 'S'. Going around each of his exposed biceps are two intwined black snake tatoos. His cloak flaps violently in the wind which must have been the cause of the door blowing open, or maybe the unknown figure is in a sour mood, that fact is yet to be discovered. The hood of his cloak is up and seems to hang far over his face like a dark cowl. The hood shadowing his face from view completely...

The mysterious dark figure steps into the room, closing the door behind him. A chilling breeze sweeping into the room as he does. The hood can be seen faintly glancing to the left and right, where he's looking, exactly, is unknown due to his eyes being hidden beneath the shadow cast from the hood onto his face. The 'lobby' is rather normal sized, no chairs, just floor with a carpet. A few portraits and moving pictures adorn the walls of the lobby-like room. There is a counter infront of him with a small, waste-level, swing door to his left to get behind the counter, for employees of course. Behind the counter is, what seems to be, an endless maze of bookshelves, but instead of books, each one is filled with drawers. Each bookshelf goes from the floor and towers all the way to the eleven foot ceiling. There is enough space inbetween each bookshelf for two to three people to move about freely. Each drawer has a single label at the front of it, with a name. Some of the closer drawers can be seen with labels such as 'Black Willow Unicorn Wand', and 'Unique Silver Pheonix Yew Wand'. Compared to the medium size of the building and the small loby, the back area looks almost to be endless. There are ladders all over the back of different sizes to assist in getting to the different heights of the drawers. A ladder can be heard sliding on one of the bookshelves and a man peeks out from behind the shelf of drawers. The man is wearing average clothes and weird-looking glasses. He has a rough face, a extremelly far back receiding hairline, and sideburns going down the sides of his face. The man looks over the mysterious dark figure behind his counter and asks, "Is there something I can help you with?". The dark figure is clearly watching the man, his hood stairing straight at him, and after awhile the figure speaks. "Yessss..." The 'Yes' starts out normal but turns into a snake-like pronounciation of the 's'. The man raises a brow but then ignores the odd response and questions the figure again, "And with what could I be helpin' ya with tonight, sir?". "I'm not here for a wand...", says the figure as he steps foward and up to the counter, the hood glances around faintly and then returning it's dark gaze onto the man behing the shelf. He gets off the latter and walks out from behind the bookshelf, the man alittle shorter than the figure. "Well I'm Oliver, I own this wand shop, what might I be helpin' ya with then, uhhh?..." Oliver's voice slowely dies down as he looks the figure over, hoping the mysterious man will give him a name. "I need some information...", replies the figure, not bothering to give him a name. "Could I atleast get a name first, sir? ....", requests Oliver, unsure about this man. Oliver, feeling alittle uncomfortable about a dark figure entering his store and questioning him without any introduction, shifts nervously. "I am here with a question.. Have you ever fixed a broken wand?...", asks the figure. Oliver then looks at him, blinking in suprise, he responds, "No, that's nearly impossible! *Oliver narrows his eyes.* Why do you ask? ". Without responding to his question the figure merely states, "-Nearly- impossible...", and then turns and walks to the door, not bothering any further, seeing as how his question was answered and Oliver is no help to him. He opens it and walks out, slamming the door behind him with a heavy sigh as he steps back out into the light blizzard, wrapping his cloak tightly around him. Oliver stands at his counter, stairing at his now shut door and empty lobby, curious what a mysterious figure wants with fixing a wand, and how his, or another person's wand, was broken in the first place....

The mysterious figure looks down the alley, no one being out at this time and during a blizzard too. His hood moves with his head as he glances about. The figure then starts off down the alley, headed towards a nearby building with a sign flapping in the wind which reads "Flourish And Blott's". Whatever it is this figure is trying to do, he's intent on his mission, as he pushes his way through the blizzard, the only thing keeping his cloak from flailing around behind him is his tightly grasping hands hugging it tightly around him to keep out the freezing cold winds of the blizzard. Whatever his intent, a blizzard is not going to stop him....

The door swings open again, but this time not slamming and not the same building. The same dark figure walks into the room and looks around. He closes the door behind him and walks foward, looking between the maze of bookcases about the room, although these actually are filled with books and not wands. He sees the store person and walks up to him... "I'm looking for information on something...", says the mysterious man. The book store clerk looks to him and raises a brow towards the unsually strange and hooded man. He responds to the blunt introduction, "And what might that be? We have books on everything. There's a sale on the 'Wizardous Sizardous' series right now...". The dark figure replies quickly, "I need as many books you have on Wands. Preferably on repairing them....". The clerk raises a brow, "And why might you need books on -that-?"... The dark figure stares at the clerk for a second and then responds, "Do you have any or not?...". The clerk nods slowely and then walks off, going around the room to four different spots and gathers together four books, then hands the small stack of books to the dark hooded man and says, "That'll.. Uhh... Be 10 galleons...". The dark figure reaches into his pocket and takes out acouple galleons, alittle more than 10, and tosses them onto the palm of his other hand and takes the books. He puts the books into a black bag, throws the bag over his shoulder, and walks out of the store, leaving another store clerk stairing in confusion...

The dark figure pushes open the large doors and walks down the dirt road in Hogsmeade to the other side of the small town. He then takes a left and goes up, entering a decent sized building with a sign that reads 'Hogs Head' on it. No one currently populating the Inn, he takes a seat down at a random table. He then pulls out the four books and looks them over. One of the books reads 'Wands and their History'. He then glances to the other three which read 'Wands, How to cast and how they work', 'Wand Focus: The Value of Your Wand Core', and 'The makings of a Wand'... He opens 'Wands and their History' and begins reading. Without looking up from the book he puts his hand up in the air, the bartender walking over with a butterbeer and setting it down, already being payed ahead of time, he walks back to behind the bar. The dark figure takes a sip, his eyes glued to the book as he reads. A long night ahead of him, with atleast four books to read, he gets comfy in the chair at the table and sits there, reading and reading....

The dark figure sits down at his usual spot in the Hog's Head. He takes out of the books retreived from Flourish & Botts and begins reading it. His eyes lock to the writing and pictures with serious intent and attention. Hours upon hours pass, the mysterious black figure still sitting, unmoved, and reading the same book, except closer to being finished. After finally finishing the book, it's late at night now, he tiredly takes out a journal looking notebook. He takes out a quill and begins jotting down his learnings, such as: 'A wand can never be fixed just physically, but it has to also be fixed magically, requiring alot of complex magic'. After finally finishing he leans back in his chair and lets out a deep sigh. He then leans foward and reads over the notes and ponders to himself... Then, getting an idea, he takes out a peice of paper and quill and begins writing. He writes a letter to Dumbledore, hoping that he knows how to or has read how to fix a wand, seeing as how the book he just read gives information on great and complex magic being used to fix wands and he knows how powerful of a wizard Dumbledore is. He then attaches it to his owl... The letter reads:

Dear Headmaster Albus Dumbledore,
It has recently come to my attenchen that in order to fix my problem, I am going to need information from someone with much experience. Due to your wide amount of knowledge, I bring an issue that I am curious about to your attention annonimously. And I'll be blunt about it... Do you know how to fix a broken wand? I am a knowledge seeker, and the history of the unsolved question "Can you fix a broken wand?" is a question that sturs up my curiosity. Ironically, my wand happens to have been broken in an extremelly unlucky situation. I simply ask of you to inlighten me on what you know on fixing broken wands and perhaps if you have fixed one before, you might be able to help me.

~The Writer~

The owl flies off, out the open window, dexterously keeping from hitting it, and towards the towers high above Hogwarts. The dark figure sits at his table, unmoved and thinking. He waits before putting everything away and then taking out the next book and beginning the next book with the same amount of intent and dedication as the first book. He reads all night, not stopping for anything until he's finished. The dark figure sits at his spot, unmoving, and reading all night and all day, only stopping for food/drink or bathroom uses. He waits patiently for a return letter from the famous Headmaster.....
