It had been deliberate, to eliminate temptation, and help her focus on the most important thing in her life. However she was denied the greatest, yet most squandered treasure that anybody could ever receive.

Now she was alone.

No friends for support, no one to turn to, no shoulder on which to cry.

Her universe was shattered into a million pieces. Its bright guiding star was forever gone. She didn't lay blame at anybody's feet but her own, but it still hurt. At least, she thought, she didn't beg. She did not resort to what she felt was emotional blackmail, in hopes of obtaining that precious second chance. However, now, the decision had been made, and she was found unworthy.

Now she was alone.
