((I'm using this thread sort of as a reaction to the latest update about the Hogwarts Lockdown. It shall explain what my characters are doing before all hell breaks loose. If anyone would like to post in this thread with their character's reactions you are more than welcome to.))

The intensity of the air around Hogwarts has picked up, even if the world around the students seems to have calmed in a quiet illusion of tranquility. Anyone with half a clue as to what was on the horizon was tense, while those blissfully unawares carried on as normal. For some the upcoming storm would be a surprise for them. But for others, it felt more like a fight to survive.

For Kylindra Valerine, she had sensed the imminent danger the moment Dumbledore had reappeared. Even though she felt ready for the challenges ahead, there are some who would disagree since she is still technically a student. She kept a vigilant eye out at all times however. If she wasn't going to fight in the front lines, then she'd help hold the defense and project the younger students. All her training to become an Auror had let her to confronting situations like this, and she was determined to be ready.

Her sister however, Amy Valerine, was not quite so experienced. While she had helped Kyli in a few rough spots (particularly her clash with Kronos), she wasn't as good of a fighter. Instead of preparing for a battle, she went around to the younger students hoping to ease their minds. Her friendly and caring ways helped bring some comfort to them in these trying times.

Meanwhile the "wolf-boy" Zackary Fang has been rather uneasy as of late. He can tell something big is about to happen, and yet he's nowhere near capable enough with magic to help. He probably wouldn't have made a good fighter anyways even if he was. Zack, for all his silly-ness was a lover, not a fighter. For now he spends his time around his friends as much as possible, especially Natayla and Luca Kiko. It would seem he's finding comfort in distraction and hoping everything will turn out alright.
